Website Design for Cleaners in Hervey Bay

Websites for Hervey Bay and Maryborough cleaners whose customers can include retirees who want the same cleaner every fortnight, families sorting out a parent's home from another state, holiday-let owners through whale season and a rental market that's busier than it has been in years.

What Hervey Bay customers look for on a cleaner's site

Nearly one in three Fraser Coast residents is 65 or older, almost twice the national share. Many of the people reading your site will be older clients, their adult children or the aged care providers who arrange their help, alongside tenants, landlords and holiday-let owners. Write and lay out the site for the first group and it works better for everyone else too.

  • Pages that are easy to read and easy to ring

Large text, strong contrast, short sentences and your phone number at the top of every page. Put the price of a regular clean and what it includes in plain words, and say whether the same cleaner comes each visit, which matters more to many older clients than the price.

  • A referral route for aged care providers

If providers send you clients, add a referral option to your enquiry form that asks for the provider's name, the client's suburb, how often they want help and any access needs. Say which kinds of domestic help you do, such as general house cleaning and laundry.

  • Estate and downsizing cleans, written for family elsewhere

When a parent moves into care or passes away, the person arranging the clean may live in Brisbane or interstate. Explain how you collect keys from an agent, executor or neighbour, what you clean and what you clear, and that you send photos when you're done, so the job can be arranged without anyone travelling.

  • Changeovers through whale season

Whale watching runs from July to October. If you turn over holiday lets in Urangan, Torquay or Scarness, say how linen and keys are handled, how quickly you can turn a place around and how far ahead owners should book those months.

  • Four-bedroom houses at the top of the bond table

Four-bedroom houses are the largest group of Fraser Coast rentals in the RTA's bond figures, ahead of three-bedroom houses, and they also had the most new tenancies over the past year. Start the bond clean prices there, then three-bedroom houses and units, and list extras such as patios, garages and flyscreens.

  • Maryborough and the growing suburbs by name

Maryborough had more new rental bonds than any single suburb in the region over the year to September 2026, while new bonds in Wondunna more than doubled and Kalkie, Tinana and Nikenbah rose by two-thirds or more. Name the suburbs and towns you cover, and say whether you go to Maryborough, River Heads or Toogoom and at what cost.

Cleaning on the Fraser Coast: an older population, a busy rental market and the whales

Bond cleans here follow the RTA rules that apply across Queensland: the rental goes back in the condition it was in at the start of the tenancy, fair wear and tear aside, and the tenant chooses who cleans it. Our Brisbane cleaners page covers the exit condition report, carpets and blue cards. The rest of this section is about Hervey Bay and the Fraser Coast.

The ABS estimated the Fraser Coast council area's population at 122,924 in June 2025, with a median age of 52.1 and 31.4% of residents aged 65 or older; nationally the figures were 38.4 and 17.5%. Over the year, deaths outnumbered births by 562, and most of the growth came from people moving in from elsewhere in Australia, a net 2,690. Several of Hervey Bay's own statistical areas are older still: Pialba – Eli Waters had 17,754 residents with a median age of 52.5 and 35.5% aged 65 or older, and Urangan – Wondunna, Torquay – Scarness – Kawungan and Point Vernon all had medians around 53.

New tenancies are starting at the fastest rate since 2018. The RTA held 10,711 bonds for the Fraser Coast on 30 September 2026, close to its March 2018 high of 10,750. In the year to September 2026, 3,910 new bonds were lodged, against 3,348 the year before, and the September quarter's 1,137 was the most in any quarter since March 2018. Houses with four bedrooms made up 3,368 of the bonds held, ahead of three-bedroom houses on 2,768. By suburb, Maryborough led with 532 new bonds, then Urangan (410), Torquay (351), Pialba (275) and Urraween (248), while Wondunna went from 95 to 201, Kalkie from 78 to 149 and Nikenbah from 75 to 127.

Visitors add a second market. Council's July 2026 economic update counted almost 921,000 overnight visitors in the 12 months to March 2026, about 118,000 more than the year before. Whale watching runs from July to October, and in 2019 the World Cetacean Alliance named Hervey Bay the world's first Whale Heritage Site. Holiday-let owners who live elsewhere need a cleaner they can book and trust without meeting, which puts more weight on clear prices, photos and a simple booking form.

Some regular cleaning for older people is funded through aged care. My Aged Care lists general house cleaning and laundry under domestic assistance, available through the Commonwealth Home Support Program, Support at Home or the Transition Care Program, with an aged care assessor deciding eligibility. Our Sunshine Coast cleaners page explains how to set up a section for providers. We're an Adelaide team, and Hervey Bay cleaners work with us by phone and email: you send your services, prices and suburbs, we send a draft to check, and you pay once you approve it.

Cleaning and home-care websites we've built

Phoenix Housekeeping, in New South Wales, is our cleaning client and offers discreet deceased estate cleaning among its services. Golden Years Aged Care Support isn't a cleaning company, but it provides in-home help for older people in northern Adelaide, cleaning included, and its site shows how to write for older readers and the providers who refer them.

Questions Hervey Bay cleaners ask us

Should our website offer deceased estate cleans?

If you're set up for them, yes, in a short and calm section. Say what you do, whether that's cleaning only or clearing and taking rubbish away too, how you get the keys and who you invoice, such as the executor or the family member arranging it. Offer a call-back so people don't have to explain everything in a form.

Can aged care providers refer clients through our site?

Yes. The enquiry form can include a referral option that asks for the provider's details, the client's suburb, how often help is needed and any access needs, and it arrives by email for you to follow up. Describe only the services you actually deliver, in plain words a provider can match to a care plan.

Whale season is when our changeovers peak. What should the site say?

Say when your July to October dates usually fill, how far ahead owners should book, how you handle linen and keys, and how you report damage or missing items to an owner who isn't local. A booking request form that asks for check-out and check-in times saves a lot of messages.

Does Maryborough need its own page?

If you clean there regularly, yes. It had the most new rental bonds of any suburb in the region over the past year, and people search for it by name rather than as part of Hervey Bay. Put your regular, bond and estate cleans on it, with the days you're in town.

Can you build a Hervey Bay cleaning website from Adelaide?

Yes. We're an Adelaide (South Australia) web design team working with businesses Australia-wide by phone and email, with current clients in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD. You send your words, prices and photos, we build a draft you can open on your phone or computer, you ask for changes, and you pay once you approve it. We reply within 24 hours.

Ready to start your Hervey Bay cleaning website?

Tell us how your work splits between regular homes, aged care referrals, bond and estate cleans and holiday lets, and whether you cover Maryborough. We'll send a fixed quote and build your draft, and you pay only once you're happy with it.
