What Does a Website for a Cleaning Business Cost?
Published 2026 figures put a five-to-ten-page business site at $2,000–$6,000; the top of that range is about a dozen typical three-bedroom bond cleans. For a cleaner, the price turns on three things: how you show your prices, how customers book, and how many services and suburbs get a page of their own. Here's each one, with our fixed prices.
- From $399, no GST added
- No deposit: pay once you approve the draft

Website prices against the price of a clean
A national web design price guide, last verified in October 2026, puts a one-page landing site at $800–$3,000 and a small business site of five to ten pages at $2,000–$6,000. Do-it-yourself website builders are listed at $30–$60 a month, before counting your own time.
The same publisher's house cleaning guide helps put those figures in proportion. It lists general cleaning at $35–$80 an hour, with $55 typical, a fortnightly clean of a three-bedroom home at a typical $170 a visit, and a three-bedroom end-of-lease clean at a typical $480. It also notes that independent cleaners usually charge 15–30% less than agencies, which matters when the website is one of the things a customer uses to decide whether you're worth the difference.
Our cleaning websites cost $399 for one page, $899 for up to three pages and $1,499 for up to eight, with no GST added. At the guide's typical fortnightly price, the one-page site costs a little over two visits from one regular household. There's no deposit: we build the draft first and you pay once you've approved it.
A price table adds nothing to the cost
The house cleaning guide says most cleaners quote on bedrooms and bathrooms, and that makes prices easy to set out. Rows for home size, columns for a regular clean, a once-off deep clean and an end-of-lease clean, then a short list of extras such as ovens, inside windows and balconies. Customers can see roughly what they'll pay before they ring, and for us it's a table and some text, so it adds nothing to the build.
If you publish figures, business.gov.au's guidance says a displayed price has to be the total, including compulsory charges and taxes, while optional extras don't need to be included. In practice, a travel fee you charge on every job belongs inside the figure, and an oven clean the customer can choose to add can sit underneath as an extra. The same guidance warns that comparing against an earlier "was" price can mislead if that price wasn't charged for a reasonable period, which is worth knowing before you run a special. Read it before you settle on your wording.
Cleaning prices move with wages and fuel. Updating the table later is a text change, which our hosting covers.
Three ways to take bookings, at three different costs
- A booking request form. The customer picks the service, home size, preferred day and time, and adds notes about pets or how to get in. You confirm by text or phone. This comes with every cleaning site we build.
- A button to booking software you already use. If you run your calendar through a booking app, a Book button can open it from every page. That costs nothing extra with us, but the software has its own subscription; the national web guide lists booking systems under licences and plugins, at $0–$100 a month.
- A booking and payment system built into the site. A live calendar, payment taken when the customer books, and confirmations sent automatically. We build these too, and quote each one separately because no two cleaning businesses schedule the same way.
For a sole operator with mostly regular customers, the request form usually does the job: you keep control of your calendar and can check the address and the job before saying yes. Instant booking starts to pay its way once you're running crews and want to fill gaps in the week without spending your evenings on the phone.
Which cleaning services earn a page of their own
Each extra service page adds to the page count, so it helps to sort your services by how people choose a cleaner for them. Price ranges below are the published figures from the house cleaning guide; it doesn't say whether they include GST.
| Service | Published price range | How the customer decides | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fortnightly clean, three bedrooms | $120–$250 a visit | Trust, reliability, the same cleaner each time | Home page |
| Deep or spring clean | $250–$600 | Wants to know exactly what's included | A section on the home page |
| End-of-lease clean, three bedrooms | $350–$700 | Compares checklists and re-clean policies, against a deadline | Its own page with the full checklist |
| Small office clean | $100–$300 a visit | A manager comparing reliability, insurance and after-hours access | Its own page if commercial work matters to you |
| After-builders clean | $400–$1,200 | A builder or renovator who needs a firm date | Its own page if you work with builders |
End-of-lease work is usually the strongest case for a second page. Tenants search for it under several names, including bond, vacate and end-of-lease cleaning, they're working to an inspection date, and they want to see the room-by-room list and what happens if the agent flags something. If offices and strata are a big part of your work, our page on commercial cleaning websites covers what those clients look for.
Who's coming into the house
Customers hand a cleaner their keys or alarm code, so a few details answer the question they don't always ask out loud. If your cleaners hold current national police checks, say so. If you're a registered NDIS provider, the NDIS Commission requires workers in risk-assessed roles to have an NDIS worker screening check, and that's worth a line too. Add your public liability insurance, how keys are stored and whether the same cleaner comes each visit.
All of it is text, so none of it changes the price. What it needs from you is accuracy: only claim the checks your cleaners actually hold, and update the page when that changes.
Suburb pages: when they're worth paying for
A list of the suburbs you clean costs nothing and fits on the home page. Separate suburb pages count towards your page total, and they only earn their keep when each one says something real: which days you're in that area, whether a travel charge applies, and which services you offer there. Ten pages with the suburb name swapped tell customers nothing new.
The cleaning site in our portfolio shows how far that can go. Phoenix Housekeeping is a family-run business covering Lake Macquarie, Cessnock and the Central Coast in NSW, offering Airbnb turnovers and linen, housekeeping, NDIS and end-of-lease cleans, plus discreet trauma and deceased estate cleaning. We built it a multi-page site with published pricing, service pages, suburb pages across its service area, a quote form with a discreet call-back option and tap-to-call.
A call-back option like that suits any cleaner who takes on sensitive jobs, where a customer may prefer to talk rather than describe the work in a form.
Running costs, and the maths of one regular customer
The national guide puts hosting at $15–$150 a month and care plans at $50–$300 a month. For sites we build, hosting is $30 a month after launch, with no contract, and a domain is about $20 a year, registered in your name. Changes such as new prices, extra suburbs, holiday closures or photos of a new team member are text and image changes on existing pages, so they're included. A new page is quoted first.
| Cost | One page | Up to 3 pages | Up to 8 pages |
|---|---|---|---|
| Build, paid after you approve the draft | $399 | $899 | $1,499 |
| Hosting, 12 months at $30 | $360 | $360 | $360 |
| Domain, about | $20 | $20 | $20 |
| First-year total, about | $779 | $1,279 | $1,879 |
| Each year after, about | $380 | $380 | $380 |
For scale: at the guide's typical $170, a household booked fortnightly is 26 visits and about $4,420 a year. We can't tell you how many customers any website will bring, but the yearly running cost of about $380 is a little over two of those visits.
When a cleaning business should spend more
A larger budget with an agency is worth it if you:
- run a franchise or several branches and need a location finder, a page per branch and logins for franchisees;
- want someone to write every service description and photograph your teams on the job;
- want your site tied into staff rostering, recurring billing and customer accounts across many crews;
- want Google Ads and SEO managed each month by the same firm.
Copywriting, photography and ad management aren't things we sell, so pay a firm that does them well if you need them. For a sole operator or small team who can write a paragraph about each service and take a few photos of finished jobs, most of a bigger quote goes on work you can already do. More general figures are in our guide to what a small business website costs, and what hosting should cover is in our hosting guide.

Cleaning website cost questions
How much does a website for a cleaning business cost?
Published 2026 figures put a one-page landing site at $800–$3,000 and a five-to-ten-page site at $2,000–$6,000. Ours cost $399 for one page, $899 for up to three and $1,499 for up to eight, with no GST added and nothing to pay until you approve the draft.
Should a cleaner put prices on their website?
Most customers want a rough figure before they call, and a table by bedrooms and bathrooms gives them one. If you publish prices, follow business.gov.au's guidance on showing the total price. Changing the table later is a text change covered by our hosting.
Can customers book and pay for a clean online?
Yes, in one of three ways: a booking request form you confirm, a button to booking software you already use, or a booking and payment system built into the site. The first two are part of the build; a built-in system is quoted per job.
Is a one-page website enough for a cleaner?
For a sole operator doing regular home cleans in a handful of suburbs, usually yes. Services, prices, suburbs, police check details and a booking form all fit on one page. Moving to three pages makes sense once end-of-lease or office work is a big share of the business.
Does end-of-lease cleaning need a page of its own?
If it's work you want more of, it helps. Tenants compare cleaners against an inspection date and want the full checklist and your re-clean policy in front of them, which is more than a home page section comfortably holds.
Who supplies the words and photos?
You do, in your own words, and we arrange them so they read well on a phone. Photos of your team and finished jobs work well. If you don't have a logo yet, we'll help you with one at no charge.
