Website Design for Cleaners in Melbourne

Websites for house, office and end-of-lease cleaners across Melbourne. Customers can see your rates, check what your vacate clean covers before the agent's exit inspection, and send a booking request with everything you need to confirm the job.

What Melbourne customers look for on a cleaner's site

Cleaning work in Melbourne comes from quite different customers: renters moving out and worried about their bond, households after a weekly or fortnightly clean, short-stay hosts, property managers and offices. Each arrives with a different question, and a site that jumbles the answers together sends every one of them to the phone.

  • Rates that say what they're per

State whether an hourly rate is per cleaner or for the whole team, whether there's a minimum booking, and whether a vacate clean is a set price by bedrooms. A price someone can see on their phone saves a call for both of you, and screens out the people who were never going to book.

  • An invoice and photos a renter can keep

Since 13 October 2026, Victorian rental providers and agents must back a bond claim with evidence such as invoices, receipts, quotes or photos. Renters may want the same paperwork from their cleaner. If you give an itemised invoice and before-and-after photos of the oven, bathroom and floors, say so on the end-of-lease page.

  • One booking form, split by job type

The first question asks what kind of clean it is: regular home, vacate, office or short-stay turnover. The questions after that suit the job, such as bedrooms and bathrooms for a house, or floor area and after-hours access for an office, so you're not texting back for the basics.

  • Police check details, not just a badge

Victoria Police describes a national police check as a point-in-time record issued for one purpose. A line saying your cleaners hold checks obtained for cleaning work, and how often you renew them, tells a customer more than a "police checked" icon does.

  • Suburbs grouped the way locals describe them

The inner north, the eastern suburbs, bayside, the west. List the areas you actually drive to under headings like those, name the main suburbs in each, and add a line about travel charges if you have them for the outer edges.

  • A separate page for commercial work

Offices, consulting rooms and strata common areas ask about after-hours access, keys and alarm codes, and a certificate of currency for your public liability cover. On a 3-page or 8-page site, a page of its own keeps that apart from the home-cleaning pitch.

Cleaning in Melbourne: rentals, checks and the areas you cover

Victoria's Residential Tenancies Act 1997 says that at the end of a tenancy a renter must leave the property reasonably clean and in the same condition as when they moved in, allowing for fair wear and tear. Consumer Affairs Victoria's cleanliness guideline sets out how that standard is read, and VCAT must have regard to it when it decides a dispute about cleanliness. For rental agreements made after 29 March 2021, a prescribed clause stops the rental provider requiring professional cleaning at the end of the lease unless the place was professionally cleaned just before the renter moved in and they were told, or professional cleaning is needed to return it to its starting condition, judged against the condition report and allowing for fair wear and tear.

That changes how a Melbourne end-of-lease page should read. Some renters will clean most of the house themselves and want you only for the oven, carpets or windows, so part-cleans are worth listing with prices. Rather than promising anyone their bond back, set out exactly what your vacate clean covers and what you'll come back to fix if the exit inspection finds something you missed. From 13 October 2026, rental providers and agents also have to support a bond claim with evidence, which makes your itemised invoice and dated photos useful to the renter.

Police checks in Victoria can be applied for online through Service Victoria, which issues digital certificates on behalf of Victoria Police, or through an accredited body. Victoria Police points out that a certificate only reflects records up to the day it was issued, can be used for one purpose only, and that the organisation asking for it usually decides how recent it must be. If you clean for NDIS participants through a registered provider, workers in risk-assessed roles need an NDIS Worker Screening Check, applied for through Service Victoria and valid for five years.

For service areas, the state's own groupings are a sensible starting point. Plan Melbourne sorts the metropolitan councils into six regions: Inner Metro, Inner South East, Western, Northern, Eastern and Southern. Check the distances before you borrow them, though. The Southern region takes in Kingston and Greater Dandenong but also Casey, Cardinia, Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula, which is a long drive for a two-hour clean. If you stop at Dandenong, say so and name the suburbs inside your line.

We're an Adelaide team, and we work with Victorian businesses by phone and email. Phoenix, our cleaning client, is in New South Wales, which means your rates, your checklist and the suburbs your cleaners reach are what make the site read as Melbourne.

A cleaning site we've built, and one for in-home support

Phoenix Housekeeping is our cleaning client, a family-run business around Lake Macquarie in New South Wales. We've also included Golden Years Aged Care Support from Adelaide, because domestic cleaning is one of its in-home services and its site is written for people deciding whether to let someone into their home.

Home & care services · Lake Macquarie, Cessnock & Central Coast

Its services page publishes an hourly rate for each kind of clean, a set per-house price for short-stay turnovers by bedrooms and bathrooms, and a note that hourly rates are per cleaner. Each service has an "Ask about this service" link that opens the quote form with that service already chosen, and trauma and estate jobs get a discreet call-back option.

Questions Melbourne cleaners ask us

Can our end-of-lease page promise renters they'll get their bond back?

We'd steer away from it. Whether a bond comes back depends on the property's condition against the condition report, fair wear and tear and any damage, not only on the clean. A clear checklist and a re-clean policy for anything the agent flags are claims you can stand behind. Consumer Affairs Victoria's renting guidance is a useful link for renters who want the detail.

Should we mention Victoria's professional cleaning rules?

A sentence and a link is plenty. Victorian rental agreements made after 29 March 2021 can't require professional cleaning at the end of a lease except in set circumstances, so some renters clean themselves and only book you for the hard parts. If you offer oven-only, carpet-only or window-only jobs, list them with prices.

How do customers book a clean through the site?

They send a booking request with the type of clean, suburb, bedrooms and bathrooms or floor area, a preferred day and how you'll get in, and you confirm by text or phone. We don't build live booking calendars or take payments on the site; if you already use booking software, the Book buttons can open it instead.

Do we need a page for each part of Melbourne?

Not usually. One grouped list on the home page, under headings such as the inner east or the western suburbs, suits most cleaners. Region pages make sense on the 8-page site if you run separate crews, for example one around Werribee and Point Cook and another in the south-east.

Can you build a website for a Melbourne cleaner from Adelaide?

Yes. We're an Adelaide (South Australia) web design team working with businesses Australia-wide, with current clients in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD. Everything happens by phone and email: you send your rates, checklist and suburbs, we send a draft link, and you pay once you approve it. We reply within 24 hours.

Ready to start your Melbourne cleaning website?

Send us your services and rates, the suburbs you cover and your end-of-lease checklist if you have one written. You'll get a fixed quote, and we build the draft before you pay anything.
