Website Design for Medical & Healthcare

Websites for GPs, dental and allied health practices and care providers that make booking easy and answer patients' questions before they call.

What a healthcare website needs to do

Patients usually arrive with a simple goal: book, or find out whether you can help. Your site should make booking the easiest thing on the page, show you're a registered, real practice, and answer the questions your front desk hears every day.

  • Booking front and centre

A clear "Book online" button linked to the booking system you use, plus tap-to-call, at the top of every page.

  • Registration and real people

Practitioners' names, photos, qualifications and AHPRA registration, so patients know who they'll see.

  • The advertising rules in mind

Registered health practitioners can't advertise with testimonials, and claims can't create unreasonable expectations. We leave out review carousels and promises of results, and you approve every word.

  • Answers to the usual questions

Fees and bulk billing, new patients, hours, parking, telehealth, referrals. Every answer on the site is one less call for reception.

  • Readable and accessible

Large, clear text, good contrast and simple navigation, which matters for older patients and anyone reading on a phone.

  • Privacy taken seriously

Enquiry forms ask only for what's needed, with a clear note not to send medical details through the form.

Health and care websites we've built

Our health and care clients include an in-home aged care provider in Adelaide and a coaching practice for doctors in Melbourne.

Home page of the Golden Years Aged Care Support website

Golden Years Aged Care Support

In-home aged care · Northern Adelaide

In-home support for older people, from personal care and cleaning to transport and respite. We built a six-page site with nine services explained on one page, a founder about page, an enquiry form with a referral option for aged care providers, large readable text and tap-to-call on every page.

Home page of the Dr Tabara Dione Coaching website

Dr Tabara Dione Coaching

Coaching for doctors · Melbourne

Confidential one-on-one performance and development coaching for doctors, led by a Melbourne specialist anaesthetist. We built a site with a services overview, an about page covering her credentials, a contact form and online discovery-call booking linked from every page.

  • Payment. No deposit. We build your draft first, you ask for as many changes as you like, and you pay once you approve it. If you don't go ahead, you owe nothing.
  • GST. WebCraft Studio isn't registered for GST, so no GST is added.
  • Timing. Most sites are live within 5–10 days of us getting your words and photos; bigger sites (up to 8 pages) take 2–3 weeks.
  • Hosting. After launch, hosting is $30 a month: hosting, security monitoring, backups, email support and unlimited text and image changes on your existing pages. New pages or features are quoted first. No contract, cancel anytime.
  • Domain and email. We register your domain in your name (about $20 a year), connect it to your site and set up your business email.

Questions practices ask us

Can patients book through the website?

Yes. We can link your site to the online booking system you use, with a booking button on every page, and add tap-to-call for patients who'd rather ring. Dr Tabara Dione's site has discovery-call booking linked from every page.

Can our website show patient reviews?

Not about your clinical services, if you're a registered health practitioner. Section 133 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law prohibits using testimonials to advertise a regulated health service. We build trust instead with credentials, clear information and real photos of your team.

Can the site work well for older patients?

Yes. We design for readability: large text, good contrast, clear buttons and simple navigation. The site we built for Golden Years Aged Care Support has large readable text and tap-to-call on every page.

Which package suits a medical or allied health practice?

A single practitioner can start with the one-page site at $399. For most small practices we suggest the 3-page site at $899, for services, practitioners and patient information. Clinics with several practitioners are better suited to the 8-page site at $1,499.
