1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of web development services provided by WebCraft Studio ("we," "our," or "us"). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms in their entirety.

2. Service Description

We provide custom website design and development services as outlined in project proposals and agreements. Our services may include but are not limited to design, development, maintenance, and hosting of websites.

Hosting costs $30 a month and includes:

  • Hosting, security monitoring and regular backups
  • Email support
  • Unlimited changes to the text and images on your existing pages

New pages, new features or a redesign are quoted separately before any work starts.

3. Project Timeline

Project timelines vary based on complexity:

  • Most websites are live within 5–10 days of us receiving your content (text, photos and logo), depending on how quickly you review the draft
  • Larger websites (up to 8 pages) usually take 2–3 weeks
  • Your quote includes an estimated timeline

4. Payment Terms

You don't pay anything until you're happy with your website:

  • There's no deposit. You pay nothing before or while we build your draft
  • You pay the quoted price in full once you've approved the draft, before your website goes live
  • If you decide not to go ahead after seeing the draft, you owe nothing for it. We won't publish it, and it isn't transferred to you
  • Hosting starts when your website goes live and is billed on the 1st of each month
  • All prices are in Australian Dollars. WebCraft Studio is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure timely completion, clients agree to:

  • Provide necessary content, images, and information in a timely manner
  • Review and provide feedback on deliverables within 5 business days
  • Make final payment before website publication

6. Revisions and Changes

Our development process includes:

  • Unlimited revisions to your draft are included in the quoted price, until you're happy with it
  • Revisions are changes within the agreed scope, such as design, layout, text, images and colours on the quoted pages
  • Adding pages or new features is a change of scope and may need a revised quote, which we'll agree with you in writing before starting

7. Intellectual Property and Your Domain

  • Your domain name is registered in your name, so you own it. Domain registration (around $20 a year) is charged separately
  • Once you've paid for your website in full, you own the final website design and files
  • We retain rights to display the work in our portfolio
  • Third-party elements (stock photos, plugins) remain subject to their respective licenses

8. Ending Services

  • You can cancel hosting at any time by email. There's no minimum term, no notice period and no exit fee, and you won't be billed again
  • When you leave, we'll give you a copy of your website files and help you move your website and domain to a new host
  • Either party can end a project before launch with written notice. You don't owe anything for a draft you haven't approved

9. Limitation of Liability

We strive for excellence but cannot guarantee:

  • Specific business outcomes or ROI from website services
  • Continuous, uninterrupted website operation
  • Compatibility with all browsers, devices, or future technologies

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in Australian courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website.
