Website Design for Cleaners in Sydney

Websites for Sydney cleaning businesses doing end-of-lease, regular home, office and holiday-rental cleans, with pages that match how NSW rental rules actually work and prices a customer can check before they ring.

What a Sydney cleaning website needs

In a single week a Sydney cleaner can work for a tenant racing an exit inspection, an owner who wants the same person every fortnight, a host with a 10am checkout and a 2pm arrival, and an office manager who needs the work done after hours. Each of them arrives with different questions, so each needs a page that answers theirs.

  • End-of-lease pages that don't overpromise

A NSW tenant has to hand the property back as close as possible to its condition at move-in, fair wear and tear aside, and the Tenants' Union of NSW points out they don't have to hire a professional. So the page sells what you really offer: a thorough clean checked against the ingoing condition report, your checklist, and what happens if the agent flags something.

  • A carpet add-on for tenants with pets

Since 19 May 2025, a NSW landlord can make professional carpet cleaning a condition of agreeing to an indoor pet, and then it has to be done whatever the carpets look like. If you steam clean carpets, a short section aimed at pet-owning tenants, with a receipt they can pass to the agent, is an honest add-on.

  • Receipts and photos your customer can use

The Tenants' Union of NSW tells tenants who pay a professional cleaner to keep the receipt, and any bond claim has to be reasonable and backed by evidence. Say on the site that every end-of-lease job comes with an itemised invoice showing the address and date, plus before-and-after photos sent when you finish. It's a small promise that matters if there's a dispute.

  • A page written for short-stay hosts

Hosts and co-hosts want your turnaround window, whether you supply and launder linen, whether you restock basics, and a photo report after each clean. Give them a page of their own, separate from home cleaning, with how much notice you need for a same-day changeover.

  • Apartment access spelled out

For jobs in unit blocks, list what you need from the customer: a parking spot or loading-bay booking, a lift booking for a big clean, and how keys or fobs get to you. Setting this out on the booking page saves a wasted trip across the city and a last-minute cancellation.

  • Areas named the way Sydney talks

Group your suburbs under the names locals use: Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, North Shore, Northern Beaches, the Hills, Sutherland Shire, and Western or South Western Sydney. Grouping them this way lets someone find their suburb quickly, and listing where you don't go is just as useful.

Cleaning in Sydney: rental rules, bonds and short stays

At the 2021 Census, 32.6% of occupied private dwellings in NSW were rented, which makes end-of-lease work a large part of the market. When a tenancy ends, NSW expects the tenant to leave the property as near as possible to the condition it was in when they moved in, and the ingoing condition report is the yardstick. The Tenants' Union of NSW explains that “reasonably clean” is not the same as spotless, that a professional clean is generally beyond the standard of a reasonable clean, and that a landlord can claim only the reasonable cost of cleaning anything left short of reasonably clean.

Pets changed things in 2025. From 19 May 2025, NSW limited the reasons a landlord can refuse a pet, and a landlord can set professional carpet cleaning at the end of the tenancy as a condition of consent for an animal that lives indoors. Once that condition is in place, the clean has to happen regardless of the carpets' state. That gives carpet cleaners a clear message for pet owners, without telling every tenant they need a steam clean.

Bonds are claimed through Rental Bonds Online or a claim form, and disagreements go to the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal. According to the Tenants' Union, a landlord or agent who claims from the bond has to show why, with evidence such as quotes and invoices, and every claim has to be reasonable. That's why a dated, itemised invoice and photos matter to your customer, and why your site should say you provide them.

Holiday rentals have rules of their own. Every short-term rental in NSW must be listed on the state's STRA Register, and non-hosted stays in Greater Sydney are currently capped at 180 days a year, a limit the NSW Government has been reviewing. Hosts working to that calendar want a cleaner who can turn a place around reliably between guests, so a page aimed at them, kept apart from your end-of-lease work, earns its place.

Sydney is too big for “we cover all of Sydney” to be useful to a customer. Name your base, the areas you cover and where you don't go. We're an Adelaide team and work with Sydney cleaning businesses by phone and email: you send your services, prices and suburbs, and we send a draft you can check on your phone between jobs.

A New South Wales cleaning website we've built

Phoenix Housekeeping is our cleaning client in New South Wales. It works across Lake Macquarie, Cessnock and the Central Coast rather than Sydney, but its site covers the same mix a Sydney cleaner offers, including end-of-lease, NDIS and short-stay cleans.

Phoenix Housekeeping

Home & care services · Lake Macquarie, Cessnock & Central Coast

A family-run business doing Airbnb turnovers with linen, housekeeping, NDIS and end-of-lease cleans, and discreet trauma and deceased estate work. Its prices are published on the site, it has service pages and a page for each suburb it covers, and the quote form offers a discreet call-back for sensitive jobs.

“My website is exactly how I wanted. I highly recommend Salem for any business wanting a professional website without the bull.”

Questions Sydney cleaners ask us

Can our site promise tenants they'll get their bond back?

We'd steer away from that. Whether money is claimed from a bond is up to the landlord or agent, and disputes are decided by NCAT, so no cleaner controls the outcome. What you can promise is your own work: the checklist, an itemised invoice, photos, and a re-clean if the agent raises something within the time you set.

Do Sydney tenants with pets have to get carpets professionally cleaned?

Only if the landlord made it a condition of consent for an indoor pet; under the NSW rules in place since 19 May 2025, it then has to be done whatever the carpets look like. Your carpet page can explain that in two sentences and link to the NSW Government's page on pets in rentals, which is more convincing than implying every tenant needs one.

We do NDIS cleans. What should the site say about worker checks?

In NSW, the NDIS Worker Check is administered by the Office of the Children's Guardian, and applications start online through Service NSW. A clearance lasts five years and can be used with any NDIS employer in Australia. Registered providers need it for workers in risk-assessed roles, and unregistered providers can choose to require it. If your cleaners hold one, say so on your NDIS page.

Should holiday-rental turnovers get their own page?

If hosts are a steady part of your work, yes. They ask about different things from tenants: turnaround windows, linen, restocking and a photo report after each stay. A separate page lets you answer those properly, and on a 3-page site it can replace the regular cleaning page if turnovers are your main line.
