Website Design for NDIS Providers in Hervey Bay

Websites for disability support providers in Hervey Bay and across the Fraser Coast and South Burnett, from Pialba, Scarness and Urangan to Maryborough, Tinana, Kingaroy and Nanango. Families, carers and plan managers can see what you offer, where you go and how billing works.

What a Hervey Bay provider's website should answer

Hervey Bay sits in the NDIA's Maryborough district, where more than eight in ten plans are plan-managed, and the Fraser Coast had a median age of 52.1 in the ABS's latest estimates. If you also deliver aged care, the site has a second audience with a different funding system. A good site makes the funding, the area and the next step obvious for each of them.

  • A section written for plan managers

In June 2026, 5,173 of the district's 6,170 plans were plan-managed (83.8%, against 71.8% across Queensland), and only 11.1% were fully self-managed. Most of your invoices will go through a plan manager, so give them one spot with your ABN, your NDIS registration number if you're registered, when invoices go out and who answers accounts questions.

  • NDIS and aged care kept on separate pages

Support at Home replaced the Home Care Packages Program in November 2025, and My Aged Care assessments are generally for people 65 or older, or 50 or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. If you offer both, a family reading about Support at Home shouldn't have to work out which parts of a page apply to an NDIS plan.

  • Hervey Bay suburbs, and Maryborough if you go there

Pialba – Eli Waters had 756 participants on 30 June 2026, Torquay – Scarness – Kawungan 592 and Urangan – Wondunna 543, with Point Vernon, Booral – River Heads and Craignish – Dundowran Beach between 193 and 234 each. Maryborough had 963, the most of any area in the district, so say whether your workers cover Maryborough, Tinana and Granville too.

  • Kingaroy and the Burnett, if you cover them

South Burnett is in the same NDIA district and had 1,267 participants in June 2026: Kingaroy 466, the area north of it 388 and Nanango 374. North Burnett had 238 and Cherbourg 78. If you travel inland, list the towns and how often you're there; if you don't, say so.

  • Pages older carers can read without strain

31.4% of Fraser Coast residents were 65 or older in June 2025, against 17.5% nationally, and the parent or partner reading on a participant's behalf may be one of them. Body text starts at a comfortable size, links say where they lead, buttons are large targets on a phone, and pages stay usable at 200% zoom.

  • Early childhood referrals from BUSHkids

BUSHkids delivers the early childhood approach in Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Kingaroy and Cherbourg, for children younger than 6 with developmental delay or younger than 9 with disability. If you see young children, show on the referral page how an early childhood partner can refer and what happens after they do.

  • Registration status stated plainly

Only 142 plans in the district were agency-managed in June 2026 (2.3%), and those participants need a registered provider. If you're unregistered, one line saying you work with plan-managed and self-managed participants covers most readers; if you're registered, list your groups the way the Commission's register does.

NDIS providers in Hervey Bay and the Maryborough district

Queensland's provider rules, including Commission registration, worker screening through the state's screening unit, blue cards for work with children and mandatory registration for supported independent living providers from 1 July 2026, are summarised on our Brisbane NDIS provider page. The same rules apply on the Fraser Coast, so this section covers the local picture.

The NDIA doesn't have a Hervey Bay district. The city falls in its Maryborough service district, which covers four councils: the Fraser Coast, South Burnett, North Burnett and Cherbourg. On 30 June 2026 the district had 6,170 participants. The Fraser Coast accounted for 4,587, up from 3,319 four years earlier, about 38% more, and South Burnett for 1,267. Bundaberg is a separate NDIA district; our Bundaberg NDIS provider page covers it.

Hervey Bay's six statistical areas, from Point Vernon and Pialba to Urangan and River Heads, had 2,533 participants between them in June 2026. Pialba – Eli Waters (756) was the largest, followed by Torquay – Scarness – Kawungan (592) and Urangan – Wondunna (543); Burrum – Fraser had 355. Maryborough (963) was the single largest area in the district, with Maryborough Region – South (363), Tinana (232) and Granville (145) around it.

The Fraser Coast is growing through people moving in rather than through births. The ABS estimated its population at 122,924 in June 2025, up 2,573 in a year: net internal migration added 2,690 people, while deaths outnumbered births by 562. The median age was 52.1, against 38.4 nationally. The NDIS figures point the same way: 1,183 participants in the district were 55 or older in June 2026, 19.2% of the total against 14.7% statewide, and 442 of them were 65 or older.

How plans are managed is the other local difference. Of 6,170 plans, 5,173 were plan-managed, 687 fully self-managed and 142 agency-managed. The NDIS Commission says only participants who self-manage or plan-manage their funding can choose an unregistered provider, so most participants here can use one, and most of your invoices will go to a plan manager. We're an Adelaide team and work with Hervey Bay providers by phone and email; we build the draft first, and you pay once you approve it.

Sites we've built for care and home services

We haven't yet built a site for a business whose main work is NDIS supports. These two are the closest: an aged care support service built for older readers, and a cleaning business that lists NDIS cleans among its services.

Home page of the Golden Years Aged Care Support website

Golden Years Aged Care Support

Home & care services · Northern Adelaide

Golden Years Aged Care Support is an in-home aged care service in Northern Adelaide rather than an NDIS provider, and its six pages are built for older readers and their families: large type, a founder about page, tap-to-call throughout and an enquiry form where aged care providers can make a referral.

“My website is exactly how I wanted. I highly recommend Salem for any business wanting a professional website without the bull.”

Questions from Hervey Bay NDIS providers

We provide NDIS supports and Support at Home services. One website or two?

One site with two clearly separate sections works for most providers. Each gets its own pages, its own contact path and wording that matches its funding: plan managers and NDIS registration on one side, My Aged Care and Support at Home on the other. Shared pages such as About and Careers serve both.

Nearly all our invoices go to plan managers. What should the site give them?

A short page or section with your legal and trading names, ABN, NDIS registration number if you hold one, when invoices are sent and an accounts email address. With 83.8% of plans in the district plan-managed in June 2026, plan managers are a large part of your audience.

We're based in Pialba. Should the site mention Maryborough?

Only if you go there. Maryborough had 963 participants in June 2026, more than any single Hervey Bay area, so families there will look for it. If you cover it, list Maryborough, Tinana and Granville; if not, say your area ends at the Hervey Bay suburbs and River Heads.

Is being unregistered a problem for a Hervey Bay provider?

It rules out fewer participants here than across Queensland: 2.3% of plans in the district were agency-managed in June 2026, against 4.7% statewide, and the NDIS Commission says those are the participants who can't choose an unregistered provider. Some supports, such as supported independent living and specialist behaviour support, need registration whoever the participant is. Say near the top of the site who you can work with, and nobody wastes a referral.
