Website Design for NDIS Providers in Bundaberg

Websites for disability support providers across the Bundaberg Region, from Walkervale and Avenell Heights to Bargara, Burnett Heads, Childers and Gin Gin. Participants, carers and plan managers can find what you deliver, where you go and how to get started.

What a Bundaberg provider's website needs to cover

Bundaberg is a single-council NDIS district with an older population than most of Queensland, and most participants' plans here are plan-managed. A useful site answers the questions those readers bring with them: do you come to my town, is this easy to read, and how will you be paid?

  • The details plan managers ask for

Four in five plans in the Bundaberg district were plan-managed in June 2026, and fully self-managed plans made up 12.9%, against 20.1% across Queensland. Put your business name, ABN, registration number if you have one, how you invoice and a payment contact on one page, so a plan manager can set you up without phoning.

  • The coast and the inland towns, by name

Bargara – Burnett Heads had 597 participants in the NDIA's June 2026 figures, almost as many as Walkervale – Avenell Heights (599), the largest in the district. If you also reach Childers, Gin Gin, Woodgate or Moore Park Beach, list them with the days you're there; someone in Gin Gin looks for Gin Gin on the page.

  • Text that's easy on older eyes

Bundaberg's median age was 47.4 in the ABS's June 2025 estimates, and more than a quarter of residents were 65 or older. Parents, partners and carers reading on a participant's behalf may be older too. We use a generous base font size, strong contrast, plain link text and buttons big enough to tap, and check pages against WCAG 2.2 AA.

  • Hervey Bay coverage made clear

Hervey Bay and the rest of the Fraser Coast sit in a different NDIA service district, with APM rather than IWC delivering local area coordination. If you cover both, show the two areas separately with the towns in each. If you don't go south of the region, a one-line note stops families there from enquiring.

  • A referral form for IWC, BUSHkids and families

IWC delivers local area coordination in Bundaberg and BUSHkids is the early childhood partner, so referrals may come from either, as well as from support coordinators, GPs and families. A short form asking who's referring, the participant's suburb, the supports needed and how the plan is managed covers all of them.

  • Registration wording that matches the register

Agency-managed plans were only 3.2% of the district's total in June 2026, but those participants still need a registered provider. If you're registered, list your registration groups the way the Commission's Provider Register shows them; if you aren't, say you work with plan-managed and self-managed participants.

NDIS providers in Bundaberg: the district, the partners and the participants

Queensland's rules on provider registration, worker screening clearances, blue cards and the compulsory registration of supported independent living providers since 1 July 2026 are explained on our Brisbane NDIS provider page. They apply unchanged in Bundaberg, so this section covers the region itself.

In the NDIA's data, the Bundaberg service district is a single council area: Bundaberg Regional Council. It had 4,203 participants on 30 June 2026, up from 3,207 four years earlier, an increase of about 31%. The ABS estimated the region's population at 107,297 in June 2025, with a median age of 47.4 and 27.1% of residents aged 65 or older; across Australia the figures were 38.4 and 17.5%.

The NDIA lists IWC (the Indigenous Wellbeing Centre) as the local area coordination partner for people aged 9 to 64, and BUSHkids as the early childhood partner for children younger than 6 with developmental delay or younger than 9 with disability; BUSHkids says it covers the whole Bundaberg Regional Council area, including Childers and Gin Gin. To the south and west, Hervey Bay, Maryborough and the Burnetts fall in the NDIA's Maryborough district, which had 6,170 participants on the same date, 4,587 of them in the Fraser Coast council area. APM delivers local area coordination there, and BUSHkids is again the early childhood partner.

The NDIA's statistical-area figures put the most participants in Walkervale – Avenell Heights (599) and Bargara – Burnett Heads (597) on 30 June 2026, followed by central Bundaberg (433), Bundaberg Region – South (342), Bundaberg North – Gooburrum (331), Bundaberg Region – North (323) and Millbank – Avoca (323). Gin Gin had 208. Participants are spread across the town, the coast and the rural areas north and south of it rather than concentrated in one place.

The participant mix is a little older than the state's: 469 participants were aged 55 to 64 and 309 were 65 or older, 18.5% of the total against 14.7% across Queensland. Plan management shapes invoicing: 3,375 plans were plan-managed, 544 fully self-managed and 133 agency-managed, and the maximum prices in the NDIS pricing schedules apply to agency-managed and plan-managed participants alike. We're an Adelaide team and work with Bundaberg providers by phone and email; you send your supports and areas, we build the draft, and you pay once you approve it.

Sites we've built for care and home services

We haven't built a website yet for a business whose main work is NDIS supports. The two below are the closest: a NSW cleaning business with NDIS cleans among its services, and an in-home support service in Northern Adelaide.

Home page of the Phoenix Housekeeping website

Phoenix Housekeeping

Home & care services · Lake Macquarie, Cessnock & Central Coast

Phoenix Housekeeping is a family-run business working across Lake Macquarie, Cessnock and the Central Coast. NDIS cleans are among its services, and its site has suburb pages across its service area, published pricing and a quote form where a customer can ask for a discreet call-back.

“…Salem walked us through everything, gave us a fixed quote so we knew exactly what we were paying, and turned around the build faster than we thought possible.”

Questions from Bundaberg NDIS providers

We cover Bundaberg and Hervey Bay. Do we need one site or two?

One site is usually enough. Give each area its own section or page, with the suburbs and towns in each, and mention that local area coordination comes from IWC in Bundaberg and APM on the Fraser Coast if that helps families know who to talk to. We also have a separate page for NDIS providers in Hervey Bay.

Is it worth naming Childers, Gin Gin and Woodgate?

If you go there, yes. A coordinator can't tell from "Bundaberg Region" whether you travel as far as Gin Gin or Childers, and a carer living there will look for their own town. List the towns, how often you visit and whether travel is charged.

Plan managers keep asking us for the same details. Can the website answer them?

Yes. A short section for plan managers can give your ABN, your registration number if you have one, how and when you invoice, and who handles payment queries. With 3,375 plans in the district plan-managed in June 2026, it's worth giving them a section of their own.

How do we make the site easy for older carers to use?

Larger text, strong contrast, short pages, a phone number that dials when tapped and a form with as few fields as possible. We check pages zoomed to 200% and with a keyboard only, and keep each page to one job, so nobody has to hunt for the next step.

How do we get started from Bundaberg?

Call or email us with your supports, the towns you cover and your registration status. We reply within 24 hours with a fixed quote. Most sites are live within 5–10 days of us getting your words and photos; bigger sites (up to 8 pages) take 2–3 weeks. You pay only once you approve the draft.
