Website Design for Cleaners on the Central Coast

Websites for cleaning businesses between the Hawkesbury and Lake Macquarie: changeovers at holiday houses from Pearl Beach to Norah Head, vacate and regular home cleans, and new homes going up around Warnervale and Woongarrah.

What a Central Coast cleaning site has to answer

People on the Coast search by town, and what they want from a cleaner depends a lot on where they are: an owner letting a house at Ettalong, a family moving into a new place at Woongarrah, a couple at Toukley who'd like the same person every second Tuesday. Your site should give each of them a clear path to booking.

  • Turnovers that run all year, not just summer

Holiday houses on the Coast aren't held to the 180-day yearly limit that applies across the Greater Sydney councils, so hosts can take guests in July as well as January. Show owners your availability across the whole year, whether you can do a same-day changeover mid-week, and your price by bedrooms and bathrooms.

  • Keys, linen and reports for owners who aren't nearby

Many holiday-house owners can't drop in to check a clean. Set out how you collect keys or lockbox codes, whether linen is yours or theirs and who washes it, what you restock, and that you send photos of each finished room and of any damage before the next guests arrive. A form that asks for the check-out and arrival times saves the back-and-forth.

  • Fortnightly cleans for older clients

The Coast's median age was 43 at the 2021 Census, and older clients tend to want one familiar cleaner, a fixed day and a phone answered by a person. Put your number at the top of every page, explain what a standard visit covers, and say whether you clean for people whose help at home is arranged through an aged care provider.

  • New-home cleans around Warnervale

Builders handing over houses in Warnervale, Wadalba and Woongarrah need dust cleared from cupboards, tracks and fittings before the owners move in, and those owners may want a regular cleaner afterwards. A short page for each, with what's included and how much notice you need, catches both.

  • Vacate cleans for NSW tenancies

Agents check the property against the ingoing condition report, allowing for fair wear and tear. A room-by-room checklist, carpets as an add-on for tenants whose pet approval requires it, and a clear return policy if the agent raises something do more for a tenant than any promise about their bond.

  • Towns grouped from the Peninsula to the lakes

Customers type their town, so list them in groups: Woy Woy, Umina, Ettalong and Pearl Beach on the Peninsula; Gosford, Erina, Terrigal and Avoca; Bateau Bay, Long Jetty and The Entrance; Tuggerah and Wyong; then Lake Haven, Gorokan, Toukley and Budgewoi in the north. Say where you stop.

Cleaning on the Central Coast: outside the cap, one council, many towns

The Coast sits next to Sydney, but its holiday houses play by different rules. The NSW Government caps non-hosted short-term rentals at 180 days a year across the Greater Sydney region, and its own FAQ spells out that this is “not including the Central Coast”. The capped councils include the Northern Beaches and Hornsby, just across the Hawkesbury; elsewhere, the FAQ says, non-hosted stays may run 365 days a year. So a registered house at Pearl Beach, Terrigal or Norah Head can take guests all year, while one at Palm Beach is limited to 180 days unless a booking runs 21 nights or more. For a changeover cleaner that means steadier work outside the holidays, and it's worth saying on your site that you take winter and mid-week jobs.

Hosts here still have obligations your turnover page can respect without giving advice. Every dwelling used for short stays must be on the NSW STRA Register and meet the fire safety standard: interconnected smoke alarms, an evacuation plan and emergency information for guests, and in apartment buildings a fire extinguisher and fire blanket in the kitchen. Strata schemes can also pass by-laws banning non-hosted short stays in their buildings. A cleaner who reports a missing fire blanket or a disconnected alarm along with the breakages is useful to an owner, as long as the site doesn't claim you check compliance.

The whole region has been one council area since Gosford City and Wyong Shire merged on 12 May 2016, with about 346,600 residents at the 2021 Census and a median age of 43. If many of your customers commute to Sydney or Newcastle and are out all day, spell out how you handle keys, alarm codes and pets when nobody's in. Further north, Council's Greater Warnervale Structure Plan, since endorsed by the NSW planning department, sets a framework for that area to grow from about 20,162 people to about 57,000 over 20 years, which means a steady run of new houses needing a first clean.

Tenancy law is the state's, so the vacate, carpet and bond rules on our Sydney cleaners page apply on the Coast too. If you do NDIS cleans, our Central Coast NDIS provider page covers how many participants the district has and how their plans are managed, and our aged care page suits businesses that clean for older clients through a provider.

Our cleaning client works on the Coast. Phoenix Housekeeping is a family business based at Morisset, just over the line in Lake Macquarie, and its site has pages for Gorokan, Charmhaven, Lake Haven, Toukley, The Entrance, Tuggerah and Wyong. We're an Adelaide team at Ste 3/110 Hutt St and built that site by phone and email, which is how we'd work with you: you send your services, prices and towns, we send a draft link, and you pay once you approve it.

A cleaning client that works on the Coast

Phoenix Housekeeping covers the northern part of the Coast as well as Lake Macquarie and Cessnock. Its suburb pages are written around the work in each place, which is the approach we'd take for a cleaner anywhere between Woy Woy and Budgewoi.

Its page for The Entrance leads with short-stay turnovers and linen, the core of its work there, before end-of-lease cleans for long-term rentals. Across the site, turnover prices are listed by bedrooms and bathrooms and linen by bedroom count, every suburb it covers has its own page, and hoarding, deceased estate and trauma enquiries can ask for a discreet call-back.

“They were very helpful and envisioned exactly what I was wanting for my website. They created the site very promptly and cost efficient.”

Questions Central Coast cleaners ask us

Should our changeover page mention that Coast houses aren't capped at 180 days?

Not as a legal point; owners know their own rules. What it changes is your offer: say you take changeovers through winter and mid-week, and how much notice you need outside the summer holidays. If you also clean across the Hawkesbury in the Northern Beaches or Hornsby council areas, list those suburbs separately.

Most of our hosts live in Sydney. What should the site show them?

Owners who can't call in want proof the job was done. Show a sample photo report, explain how keys and lockbox codes are kept, say whether you supply and launder linen, and give a mobile number that's answered on changeover days. A form that takes the property address, bed count and next arrival time lets them book without a phone call.

Do we need a page for every town?

Not to begin with. Phoenix Housekeeping has a page for each suburb across three council areas, which suits a business covering that much ground. On a 3-page site, a well-organised list of towns grouped from the Peninsula to the lakes does most of the work, and town pages can be added later.

Can clients book regular cleans online?

Yes. We can build online booking, with payment if you'd like it, into the site and quote that alongside the build. Or we can link the Book buttons to a tool you already use, such as Calendly. For regular clients, many cleaners start with a request form and confirm the day by text.

Can an Adelaide team look after a Central Coast cleaning business?

Yes. We're an Adelaide (South Australia) team with current clients in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD, and Phoenix Housekeeping already covers part of the Coast. Everything runs by phone and email: we build your draft, you ask for changes until it's right, and you pay once you approve it. We reply within 24 hours.

Ready to start your Central Coast cleaning website?

Tell us whether changeovers or home cleans bring in most of your work, and which towns you'll drive to from the Peninsula to the lakes. We'll send a fixed quote, build the draft, and you pay only once you're happy with it.
