Website Design for NDIS Providers in Adelaide

Websites for disability support providers in Adelaide and regional South Australia, built by a web design team on Hutt St in the city. Participants, families and coordinators can see the supports you deliver, which parts of Adelaide your workers reach, how your team is screened in SA and how to refer someone to you.

What an Adelaide provider's website should spell out

South Australia was one of the two states the NDIS Commission covered from its first day, 1 July 2018. The questions a participant, a family or a coordinator brings to your site are asked in South Australian terms: the check your workers hold, the region and suburbs you reach, and who to contact about a new participant.

  • The NDIS Worker Check, under its SA name

In South Australia the national screening check is called the NDIS Worker Check, and the Screening Unit in the Department of Human Services runs it. Use that name on your team and careers pages. The same unit handles Working with Children Checks and Aged Care Sector Employment Checks, so if some of your workers hold one of those as well, name each check properly instead of a vague "fully checked".

  • Your area, in a coordinator's words and a family's

Local area coordinators work in named regions: Northern, Western, Eastern and Southern Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills, and further out the Fleurieu Peninsula and Barossa, Light and Lower North. Families think in suburbs and councils, such as Elizabeth in Playford or Morphett Vale in Onkaparinga. We put both on the page, with how far your workers travel and whether travel is charged.

  • Capacity set out region by region

A provider rarely has the same room everywhere. A line such as "Taking new participants in Western Adelaide; waitlist in the Hills" answers a coordinator before they pick up the phone. Changing it is a text change on an existing page, which the $30 monthly hosting covers.

  • A referral page for the people who refer here

Support coordinators, and local area coordinators at Feros Care, Baptcare or Mission Australia helping someone put a plan into action, need a page they can bookmark. Keep the form short: their organisation, the participant's suburb, the supports needed, how the plan is managed, and a tick box confirming the participant agreed. Then say who rings back, and roughly when.

  • A careers page that matches SA screening

If you ask new support workers for a clearance before their first shift, say so, and say it's applied for through a Screening SA account. The Screening Unit reports that most applications are finished within four weeks, though delays in national police checks can add up to a month, so an honest line about start dates saves awkward calls. If you take volunteers, their check costs nothing.

  • A plan for high fire danger days

If your workers drive into the Adelaide Hills, the Barossa or down to the Fleurieu, some shifts may have to move on an Extreme or Catastrophic fire danger day. A short section written before summer, saying how you'll let participants know and how they can reach you, is easier to find than a social media post on the day.

Providing NDIS supports in South Australia: what's different

One of the first two states. The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission began on 1 July 2018, and for its first year its work was confined to New South Wales and South Australia. That first year it transitioned 9,703 providers previously registered with the NDIA in the two states. Registration works the same way nationally, including the changes that took effect on 1 July 2026 for supported independent living and NDIS digital platforms, so our main NDIS providers page covers what a registered or unregistered provider's site should say. For scale, the NDIA counted 67,270 people in South Australia benefiting from the NDIS at 30 June 2026.

Screening runs through DHS. South Australia's NDIS Worker Check sits under the state's Disability Inclusion Act 2018 and the Disability Inclusion (NDIS Worker Check) Regulations 2020, and the Screening Unit in the Department of Human Services carries it out, alongside Working with Children and Aged Care Sector Employment Checks. Applicants complete it through a Screening SA account, which can also be reached with a Digital ID, and verify their identity; employers see the outcome through the national NDIS Worker Screening Database. A clearance lasts five years. Registered providers must make sure key personnel and workers in risk-assessed roles hold one, while workers of unregistered providers, and workers engaged by self-managing participants, don't need one, though they can be asked to get one. The Screening Unit takes enquiries by phone and email only, and its guidance on SA.GOV.AU is the place to confirm who in your business needs what.

Who coordinates where. The NDIA's local area coordination partners divide Adelaide between three organisations. Feros Care covers Northern Adelaide from an office in Salisbury, plus Barossa, Light and Lower North. Baptcare covers Western Adelaide from Mile End and Eastern Adelaide from Campbelltown, as well as Yorke and the Mid North. Mission Australia covers Southern Adelaide from Noarlunga Centre, the Adelaide Hills and the Fleurieu, along with the Murray and Mallee, the Limestone Coast, Whyalla, Port Augusta and the Flinders Ranges. Kudos Services is the early childhood partner for families of young children across Adelaide and much of regional SA. A provider in Elizabeth and one in Hallett Cove can both say "Adelaide" and never cover the same street, so name the regions you reach, then the councils and suburbs families search by, such as Playford, Salisbury and Tea Tree Gully in the north and north-east; Charles Sturt, Port Adelaide Enfield and West Torrens in the west; Marion and Onkaparinga in the south; and Mount Barker and the Adelaide Hills Council up the freeway.

Fire danger and travel. The NDIA's South Australia page points participants to the State Emergency Service and the Country Fire Service for disaster preparation. Extreme and Catastrophic fire danger days both carry a Total Fire Ban, and on an Extreme day the CFS advises reconsidering travel through bushfire risk areas. For registered providers, the core module of the NDIS Practice Standards includes an emergency and disaster management standard, and the Commission's guidance covers what that involves. The website's part is simpler: link to the CFS ratings rather than restating them, and say in plain words what you'll do.

Working with us from Hutt St. We're at Ste 3/110 Hutt St in the city. Most of our projects run by phone and email, which suits providers who spend the day driving between participants, and an Adelaide provider who'd like to sit down first can arrange a meeting. Our nearest project to your work, Golden Years Aged Care Support, is in Northern Adelaide; we haven't yet built for a business whose main work is NDIS supports.

South Australian sites we've built

Neither of these businesses is an NDIS provider. Golden Years is the closest match to your work: in-home support in Northern Adelaide, read by the same kinds of people who read yours. SA Painting Professionals is a painting company, shown here because its site lets visitors check coverage by suburb or postcode across the state.

Home page of the Golden Years Aged Care Support website

Golden Years Aged Care Support

Home & care services · Northern Adelaide

In-home support for older people across Northern Adelaide, covering personal care, cleaning, transport and respite. That's aged care rather than the NDIS, but the readers overlap with yours: older clients, their families and the organisations referring them. Its six pages explain nine services in one place, give aged care providers their own referral option on the enquiry form, and keep the text large with a tap-to-call number on each page.

SA Painting Professionals

Trades & construction · Adelaide & all of SA

An Adelaide painting company working across South Australia. Its site has region pages around the state and a suburb and postcode search, so a visitor can quickly check whether their address is covered. A provider whose workers reach some regions and not others can use the same idea.

“He listened to my feedback and made no hesitations to revise and adjust my website until we were completely happy with it.”

Questions Adelaide NDIS providers ask us

What should our website call the screening our workers hold?

In South Australia it's the NDIS Worker Check, carried out by the DHS Screening Unit, so we use that name and say which of your roles hold it. If some workers also have a Working with Children Check or an Aged Care Sector Employment Check from the same unit, we list those separately. Which roles need which check is for the Screening Unit's and the NDIS Commission's guidance to answer; the site states what's true for your team.

Should we name the local area coordination partner for our area?

Naming the region is what helps a coordinator, for example "We cover Southern Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills". Naming Feros Care, Baptcare or Mission Australia on your own site can read as though you work with them, so unless you have a formal arrangement, we stick to the region names, councils and suburbs.

Our workers travel to the Hills and the Barossa. What should the site say about fire danger days?

A short section, written before summer, saying how you'll tell participants if a shift has to move on an Extreme or Catastrophic fire danger day and how they can reach you that day. We link to the CFS fire danger ratings and the NDIA's South Australia page, which points to CFS and SES preparation guides, rather than restating them.

We provide aged care as well as NDIS supports. One website or two?

Usually one, with separate pages for each, because the funding, the readers and the people referring clients differ. On a combined site the aged care pages can take referrals from aged care providers, as the Golden Years form does, while the NDIS pages take them from coordinators. The 8-page site has room for both.

Can we meet you in Adelaide before we start?

Yes. We're at Ste 3/110 Hutt St, and you can call 0451 072 412 to arrange a time. Most of our projects run by phone and email instead: you send your supports, regions and screening details, we send a draft link, and you ask for changes until it's right, then pay once you approve it. We reply within 24 hours.

Which package suits an Adelaide NDIS provider?

A sole support worker covering a handful of suburbs can start with the one-page site at $399. For most providers taking referrals we suggest the 3-page site at $899: your regions, capacity and referral form then get a page of their own. If you staff several regions or recruit regularly, the 8-page site at $1,499 has room for region pages and a careers page.

Ready to start your Adelaide NDIS provider website?

Tell us the supports you deliver, the regions and suburbs your workers reach and the checks your team holds. We'll send a quote, then build a draft for you to check before you pay anything.
