Website Design for Aged Care and Home Care on the Gold Coast

Websites for Gold Coast home care and aged care providers, from the Broadwater suburbs and the new estates around Coomera down to Coolangatta. Families can check whether you visit their suburb, see what you charge and what clinical care you offer, find out whether visits are going ahead after a storm, and, if they live over the border in Tweed, see which contacts apply to them.

What a Gold Coast aged care website has to cover

The Gold Coast is a long, narrow city, and aged care demand runs the length of it, from the canal suburbs of the Broadwater to the growth corridor in the north and down to the border. Tweed Shire, just over that border, adds another 2,382 package holders a short drive from Coolangatta. A provider's site has to show exactly which part of all that it serves.

  • Your northern suburbs, one by one

In 2024–25, 18,594 Gold Coast residents used the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and 4,470 held a Home Care Package on 30 June 2025, the last annual count before packages became Support at Home. The north had the largest groups. Labrador, Arundel, Biggera Waters, Coombabah, Runaway Bay and Paradise Point had 3,293 CHSP users and 779 package holders between them, and the corridor through Helensvale, Hope Island, Oxenford, Coomera, Pimpama and Ormeau had 2,912 and 729. A family in Pimpama is looking for the word Pimpama, not "northern Gold Coast".

  • A suburb or postcode check

A box where someone types a suburb or postcode and sees at once whether you visit saves a phone call for both of you. It suits a city where a provider based in Burleigh Waters might reach Elanora and Robina but not Upper Coomera, and where Tweed Heads (2485) sits right beside Coolangatta (4225). We've built this kind of search before, for a painting company that covers the whole of South Australia.

  • Clinical care set out for higher needs

On 30 June 2025, 1,275 of the city's 4,470 package holders, more than one in four, were at Level 4, the highest level of need. In the southern suburbs from Palm Beach and Elanora through Currumbin and Tugun to Coolangatta it was 137 of 422, nearly a third. Families arranging care at that level usually want to know about nursing, continence and wound care, medication help and how soon you can start, so give clinical services a section of their own in plain words and say who delivers them.

  • A notice for storm days

Severe weather here can disrupt visits for days. On the morning of 14 March 2025, in the wake of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, Energex's outage map still showed about 17,000 customers in south-east Queensland without power, most of them on the Gold Coast. A notice across the top of every page, which we switch on and reword when you email us, tells clients and families whether visits are going ahead and how you'll be in touch, without them waiting on hold.

  • Rooms pages that lead with the suburb

Residential care is concentrated in a few parts of the city. On 30 June 2025, homes around Southport, Ashmore, Parkwood and Molendinar, the area that includes Gold Coast University Hospital, had 1,008 residents, and homes in the Broadwater suburbs had 990, while Main Beach, Surfers Paradise, Benowa and Bundall together had 74. Families comparing homes start with a suburb, so a home's site should lead with it, then list each room type with the maximum price shown on My Aged Care and link to the home's Star Rating listing, where the current figure can be checked.

  • A referral path for Gold Coast care finders

Gold Coast PHN commissions care finders for older residents who have nobody else to help them through My Aged Care, and lists them as Footprints Community and the Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast and CÜRA. The council's care finder service has bilingual staff and also works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people over 50 and with people over 50 on low incomes or at risk of homelessness. A referral form asking for the suburb, the help needed, any language needs and a contact, with your reply time stated, gives a care finder everything in one go.

The coast and the Tweed: what changes along the strip and over the border

Queensland's rules apply here exactly as they do in the capital, so we haven't repeated them. Our Brisbane aged care page covers worker screening through the state's worker screening unit, the Queensland Community Support Scheme for clients under 65, ADA Australia and the Elder Abuse Helpline, the Office of the Health Ombudsman for complaints about clinicians, and the Village Comparison Document a retirement village has to publish on its website. This section is about the coast itself.

Outside the north, home support use is spread fairly evenly. In 2024–25 the CHSP counted 2,232 users around Broadbeach, Mermaid Waters, Miami and Burleigh, 2,208 around Southport, 2,136 in the Nerang area (Carrara, Highland Park, Pacific Pines and Worongary included), 1,966 from Palm Beach to Coolangatta and 1,727 around Robina, Varsity Lakes and Merrimac. If you keep visits within a few neighbouring suburbs to cut travel time, list that patch honestly rather than claiming the whole coast; families and care finders would rather know early.

Over the border, Tweed Shire had 4,879 CHSP users in 2024–25, 2,382 package holders on 30 June 2025 and 1,245 people in its residential homes. Support at Home and the CHSP are Commonwealth programs and work the same on both sides, but the local contacts change. NSW clients have Seniors Rights Service (opens in a new tab) for free aged care advocacy and the NSW Ageing and Disability Commission for reports of abuse or neglect of older people at home, where Queensland clients have ADA Australia and the state's helpline. Footprints Community is also Healthy North Coast's care finder for the Tweed, Kyogle, Byron and Ballina areas, so a referral for a client in Banora Point can come from the same organisation as one for Labrador. QCSS is a Queensland Government scheme; check with its Access Point before offering it to anyone living in NSW. Our Sydney aged care page covers the NSW side in more detail.

We're an Adelaide team at Ste 3/110 Hutt St and work with Gold Coast providers by phone and email. We haven't built for an aged care provider on the coast. Golden Years Aged Care Support, our aged care client, is in Northern Adelaide, and our Queensland clients include a dance school on Brisbane's Bayside and a licensed plumber and gas fitter.

What we'd bring from other projects

We don't have a Gold Coast aged care client. Golden Years Aged Care Support shows what we build for in-home aged care, and SA Painting Professionals has the suburb and postcode search that a provider spread along the coast can use.

Golden Years Aged Care Support

Home & care services · Northern Adelaide

An in-home support service for older people in Northern Adelaide. Its six pages include a single services page explaining all nine services, a page about the founder, type sized for older readers, a call button on every page and an enquiry form through which other aged care providers can send a referral.

“…Salem walked us through everything, gave us a fixed quote so we knew exactly what we were paying, and turned around the build faster than we thought possible.”

Questions Gold Coast aged care providers ask us

Some of our clients live in Tweed Heads. Can one website cover both states?

Yes. Support at Home is a Commonwealth program, so your services and price table can stay the same across the border unless you price that area differently. What changes is the list of local contacts. We add a short section for NSW clients with the NSW advocacy and abuse-reporting bodies, and put your Tweed suburbs under their own heading so a family in Kingscliff or Banora Point can see you cover them.

How do we cut down enquiries from suburbs we can't reach?

List your suburbs plainly, and add a suburb or postcode check near the top of the page and on the enquiry form. If someone outside your area still gets in touch, the form can show them a short message pointing to My Aged Care's provider search, or its phone line on 1800 200 422, so they aren't left without an answer.

Can we post an update when visits are cancelled because of the weather?

Yes. We set up a notice that sits across the top of every page and stays hidden until you need it. Email us the wording and we'll switch it on, change it as things develop and turn it off afterwards; changing text on your existing pages is covered by the $30 monthly hosting. It won't replace phoning the clients who depend on you, but it gives their families somewhere to check.

We run a retirement village with care on site. Does anything extra apply?

In Queensland, yes. The operator has to publish the village's Village Comparison Document on the village website, with the document or a link to it prominent on every page carrying the village's marketing material. Our Brisbane aged care page explains the rule and links to the state's instructions for operators, and we build that link into the village pages.

Have you built for aged care providers on the Gold Coast?

No, and we'd rather say so up front. Our aged care client is in Northern Adelaide, and our Queensland clients include Queensland Dance & Performing Arts on Brisbane's Bayside and M.J. Debney Plumbing & Gas. Everything runs by phone and email: you send your services, prices and suburbs, we build a draft you can check on any device, and you pay only once you approve it. We reply within 24 hours.

Want a clearer website for your Gold Coast care service?

Send us your services, prices, the suburbs you visit on each side of the border and how you handle storm days. We'll quote and build the draft, and you pay only once you approve it.
