Website Design for NDIS Providers on the Gold Coast

Websites for disability support providers working anywhere from Ormeau to Coolangatta, and across the border into Tweed. Participants, families and coordinators can see which supports you deliver, which suburbs your workers reach and how to make a referral.

What a Gold Coast provider's site should settle before anyone calls

A family looking for support on the Gold Coast might live in Pimpama or Palm Beach, on the Queensland side of Coolangatta or the NSW side of Tweed Heads. Before they ring, they want to know whether you come to them, what you deliver and whether your workers hold the checks that suit the support. These are the parts we'd build the site around.

  • Your border coverage, spelled out

If your workers cross into NSW, give Tweed Heads, Banora Point, Kingscliff and any other Tweed Shire suburbs their own heading instead of folding them into "Gold Coast". A coordinator working with a Tweed family needs to see at a glance that you go there. If you stop at the border, say so just as plainly.

  • Times labelled with the state

NSW is on daylight saving this season from 4 October 2026 to 4 April 2027, and Queensland doesn't change its clocks at all. For those six months Tweed Heads is an hour ahead of Coolangatta, so office hours, call-back windows and group program start times on your site should say "Queensland time". Two words stop a family arriving an hour early.

  • Checks for workers who live over the border

A worker who lives in Tweed and holds an NDIS worker screening clearance issued in NSW doesn't need a second one in Queensland, because the clearance is recognised nationally. Children's checks don't travel the same way: Queensland doesn't recognise working with children checks from other states, so a worker supporting children on the Gold Coast may also need a blue card. A careers page listing the checks each role needs saves applicants guessing.

  • The northern suburbs, by name

Many of the city's participants live in the newer suburbs between Helensvale and Ormeau rather than near the beaches. If you cover Coomera, Upper Coomera, Pimpama or Ormeau, name each one. If your workers stop at Helensvale, say that too, so nobody in Yatala is referred to you by mistake.

  • A children's referral path

Uniting Care delivers the NDIS early childhood approach on the Gold Coast, for children younger than 6 with developmental delay or younger than 9 with disability. If you provide therapy or early intervention for children, a form that asks for the child's age, the supports wanted and how the family prefers to be contacted, with your waitlist shown beside it, gives a referrer everything in one go.

  • One registration line, used everywhere

Pick a single sentence that describes your status in the terms the NDIS Commission's Provider Register uses, and use it on every page and in the footer, so the home page never says something different from the about page. Unregistered providers can say they work with self-managed and plan-managed participants.

Gold Coast NDIS providers: where participants live and what changes at the border

Registration and worker screening work the same way here as in Brisbane, so we haven't repeated them in full. Our Brisbane NDIS provider page covers registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, Queensland's worker screening unit, blue cards, and the compulsory registration of supported independent living providers from 1 July 2026. What follows is particular to the Gold Coast.

In the NDIA's data, the City of Gold Coast makes up its Robina service district. It had 17,168 participants on 30 June 2026, up from 11,516 four years earlier, which puts it behind only Brisbane and Moreton Bay among Queensland councils. Carers QLD is the local area coordination partner for people aged 9 to 64, and Uniting Care runs the early childhood approach. A family who has spoken with either may reach your site with a short list of providers to compare.

Those participants aren't spread evenly. The NDIA also counts participants by statistical area, and on the same date Upper Coomera–Willow Vale (1,298), Pimpama (1,050), Coomera (865) and Ormeau–Yatala (826) had just over 4,000 between them. Surfers Paradise had 290, and the two Southport areas 1,021. A provider based in Southport or Robina that also covers the northern corridor should show that on the page, suburb by suburb, because that's where many participants live.

Across the border, Tweed Shire sits in the NDIA's Northern NSW service district and had 3,255 participants on 30 June 2026. Its local area coordination partner is Social Futures and its early childhood partner is Northcott, so two families a few streets apart can have different NDIS contacts. Worker screening is national, but children's checks aren't: Blue Card Services says Queensland doesn't recognise checks issued by other states. If you work on both sides, your site can explain each in a sentence and link to the official page rather than offering advice of its own.

We're an Adelaide team and work with Gold Coast providers by phone and email. Queensland stays on AEST all year, so Adelaide is half an hour behind you from April to October and half an hour ahead while South Australia is on daylight saving. You send your supports, suburbs and registration details; we build a draft you can check on any device, and you pay only once you've approved it.

Support and care websites we've built

We haven't built a site for a provider whose main work is NDIS supports, and the Queensland sites in our portfolio are for a plumber and a dance school, not disability providers. These two projects are the closest to what a Gold Coast provider needs.

Home page of the Phoenix Housekeeping website

Phoenix Housekeeping

Home & care services · Lake Macquarie, Cessnock & Central Coast

A family cleaning business in Lake Macquarie, NSW, that lists NDIS cleans among its services. Its site has suburb pages across a service area spanning three council areas, which is the same job as setting out Gold Coast and Tweed coverage so each family finds their own suburb.

Home page of the Golden Years Aged Care Support website

Golden Years Aged Care Support

Home & care services · Northern Adelaide

In-home support for older people in Northern Adelaide. We built six pages with large text, tap-to-call on every page and an enquiry form with a referral option for aged care providers: the same idea as a referral path for coordinators and early childhood partners.

“They were very helpful and envisioned exactly what I was wanting for my website. They created the site very promptly and cost efficient.”

Questions from Gold Coast NDIS providers

We support families in Tweed Heads as well as on the Gold Coast. Do we need two websites?

No. One site with separate headings for your Queensland and NSW areas does the job, and it keeps your registration, supports and contact details in one place. Label any times on the site as Queensland time, and if your intake process differs on the NSW side, give it a short section of its own.

Our support workers live in NSW. What should the site say about their checks?

Keep it factual and short. NDIS worker screening clearances are recognised nationally, so you can say workers in risk-assessed roles hold one, wherever it was issued. If they support children in Queensland, Blue Card Services is where to confirm what's needed, because Queensland doesn't accept other states' working with children checks. We'd link to that official guidance rather than paraphrase it.

Is it worth naming Coomera, Pimpama and Ormeau individually?

If you work there, yes. On the NDIA's 30 June 2026 figures, those northern areas had more participants than any other part of the city, and people tend to search with their own suburb in mind. A suburb list is plain text, so it's quick to change when your workers' areas change, and those edits are part of the $30 monthly hosting.

How does an Adelaide team work with a Gold Coast provider?

By phone and email. WebCraft Studio is based at Ste 3/110 Hutt St in Adelaide, and our current clients are in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD. We send a draft link, you ask for changes as often as you need, and you pay once you approve it. We reply within 24 hours.

Can the site show an early childhood waitlist that changes often?

Yes. We'd put the waitlist status in a clearly marked spot on the referrals page. When it changes, email us the new wording and we'll update it; text changes on existing pages are included in the $30 monthly hosting. If you'd like families to book an intake call online, we can link the booking tool you already use or build booking into the site, quoted separately.

Starting a Gold Coast NDIS provider website?

Tell us what you deliver, which suburbs on each side of the border your workers reach and how you're registered. We'll come back with a fixed quote and build the draft before you pay anything.
