Website Design for Bathroom Renovators in Adelaide

Websites for Adelaide bathroom renovation businesses, built by a team on Hutt Street. Owners see the licence they can look up, rooms like theirs stripped back and finished, roughly where their job will land on price, and the certificates they'll hold once the plumber, electrician and tiler have packed up.

What an Adelaide renovator's site should settle before the first call

Three in four occupied homes in Greater Adelaide were separate houses at the 2021 Census, and one in six were semis, row houses or townhouses. Most of your enquiries will come from a house owner who has lived with the same bathroom for years and wants to know who does what, what it costs and what paperwork they end up with. These are the parts we'd build in.

  • Your licence, word for word from the register

Consumer and Business Services licenses building work contractors, and HIA's guide to South Australian licensing points out that each licence names the types of work it allows and can carry conditions. Plumbing and electrical work count as building work too but sit under their own PGE licences. We put your licensed name and number in the footer of every page and list your plumber's and electrician's licences beside the work they do, so an owner checking the CBS register finds the same details.

  • Prices that respect the twenty-thousand-dollar line

Since 10 November 2025, South Australian domestic building contracts under $20,000 have been treated as minor work: no written contract or indemnity insurance is required by law, though licensing and the statutory warranties still apply. Above that figure the contract must be in writing, and the Law Handbook sets the deposit at no more than 5 per cent. A smaller ensuite refresh and a full gut of a family bathroom can fall on different sides of that line, so a price guide set out as "from" figures for each kind of job, with your own wording, tells owners which set of rules to expect.

  • The certificates an owner keeps

In South Australia, plumbing, gas fitting and electrical work is certified with an electronic certificate of compliance through the Office of the Technical Regulator, and the tradesperson can email a copy to the owner. Plumbing certificates go in within 7 days of finishing, and electrical ones are certified before the installation is made available to be switched on. A short list on your process page (plumbing eCoC, electrical eCoC, your waterproofing paperwork, product warranties) answers the handover question before the job starts.

  • Asbestos: whose job it is to look

South Australia's asbestos website says that in a domestic property, the duty to identify asbestos sits with the builder or tradie, not the homeowner or tenant. It lists tile backing, sheet walls, ceilings and hot water insulation in walls among the places it turns up in bathrooms and laundries, and rates a house built or renovated before the mid-1980s as highly likely to contain it. A paragraph on how you check, and who removes it, belongs on the quote form page.

  • Accessible bathrooms funded through aged care

Under the federal Support at Home program, which began on 1 November 2025, home modifications have three funding tiers, the highest up to $15,000. Every modification has to be prescribed by an occupational therapist, and the participant's provider arranges the work. If you fit step-free showers, grab rails and wider doorways, a page written for providers and OTs, covering your lead times and the reports you send back, reaches the people who choose the contractor.

  • Galleries captioned by the house, not just the tile

Captions such as "Main bathroom in a 1960s brick home, Campbelltown", "Ensuite in a stone-fronted villa, Unley" or "Bathroom in a city apartment" tell a visitor at once whether you've worked on a place like theirs. Add the number of days the room was out of action and whether the household stayed at home, and the gallery answers the next question too.

Renovating bathrooms in Adelaide: rules, housing and heritage

Licensing and contracts, in short. The building work contractor's licence, the supervisor registration behind it and the rule that advertising shows your licensed name and number are covered on our page for Adelaide builders, and plumbing and gas licensing on our Adelaide plumbers page. For bathroom work, the details that change what your site says are the November 2025 thresholds. The Law Handbook explains that for contracts over $20,000, the Building Work Contractors Regulations 2026 cap the deposit at 5 per cent of the work's value, with a fixed small deposit allowed below that, and that building indemnity insurance is required only where domestic work over $20,000 also needs development approval. When it applies, the cover is up to $250,000. Whether a given bathroom needs approval is a question for PlanSA or the council, so on your site we'd link the Handbook's pages on building contracts and minor domestic work rather than give owners a rule of thumb.

Houses in the north, apartments in the city. Greater Adelaide had 536,048 occupied private dwellings at the 2021 Census: 75 per cent separate houses, 16.3 per cent semis, row houses and townhouses, and 8.2 per cent flats or apartments. The spread is uneven. In the City of Playford, 84 per cent were separate houses and under 1 per cent flats, while in the City of Adelaide 56.9 per cent were flats or apartments and 59.5 per cent of homes were rented. For units, South Australia's Strata Titles Act says that "prescribed work", defined to include altering or demolishing a building or structure and changing its external appearance, needs a special resolution of the strata corporation, with a narrower path for some two-unit schemes. Owners of older walk-up units ask about this, and a line telling them to check with their strata manager before booking a start date saves a stalled job.

Heritage areas and older homes. Colonel Light Gardens and Port Adelaide are both State Heritage Areas. The Department for Environment and Water says proposed changes to any property in one need development approval from the local council, which refers them to the heritage minister for advice, and its definition of development takes in non-structural alterations. A renovator who regularly works in Colonel Light Gardens or Port Adelaide has good reason to give those suburbs a paragraph of their own. Age matters inside the walls as well: the state's asbestos guidance says the 10 square metre limit for unlicensed removal applies to the whole project and can't be split into smaller lots, and that friable asbestos always needs a licensed removalist.

Rentals and agents. About 28 per cent of Greater Adelaide's occupied homes were rented at the 2021 Census. The Housing Safety Authority's minimum housing standards ask for a toilet, a bath or shower and a hand basin, adequate waterproofing in walls and floor, hot and cold plumbed water to bathe, drainage for all wastewater, and adequate ventilation and light. Since 1 July 2024, landlords and agents have had to meet those standards at the start of a tenancy. That makes a page for property managers worth having if rental refits are part of your week: how you arrange access, how long the room is out of use and what you leave on file.

Working with us. WebCraft Studio is at Ste 3/110 Hutt St in the city. Most of our projects run by phone and email, which suits renovators who spend the day in someone else's bathroom, and if you'd rather sit down before we start, that can be arranged. You send your licence details, your own words about how a job runs, before-and-after photos and the suburbs you cover; we arrange them into pages, link the official guidance, and leave licensing, approval and contract questions to you, CBS and your advisers.

Adelaide sites we've built that touch your trade

We haven't built a site for a business that only renovates bathrooms. The closest is Bright Building & Renovations, a licensed Adelaide builder whose work includes kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovations. We've also built for Golden Years Aged Care Support in northern Adelaide, which is a home support service, not a trade, but works in the same world of referrals that accessible bathroom work relies on.

Bright Building & Renovations

Trades & construction · Adelaide, Adelaide Hills & Fleurieu

A 30-page site with seven service pages, bathroom renovations among them, seven service-area pages across Adelaide, the Hills and the Fleurieu, five planning guides, a project gallery, an FAQ, a seven-step quote form and tap-to-call. A renovator's site can follow the same shape on a smaller scale.

Golden Years Aged Care Support

Home & care services · Northern Adelaide

A six-page site for an aged care support business in northern Adelaide, with nine services explained on one page, large readable text and an enquiry form that has a referral option for aged care providers. The same kind of referral form suits a renovator taking Support at Home work from providers and OTs.

Questions Adelaide bathroom renovators ask us

You're in Adelaide. Can we meet in person?

Yes, if you'd like to. We're at Ste 3/110 Hutt St, and while most projects run by phone and email, a sit-down before we start can be arranged. Either way, you send your words, licence details and photos, we reply with a draft link that opens on your phone, and nothing is owed until you approve it. We reply within 24 hours.

Should our site publish prices when jobs straddle the $20,000 mark?

A guide helps, as long as it's honest about what moves the price. South Australia treats contracts under $20,000 as minor domestic work, without the legal requirement for a written contract, and contracts above it come with a written contract, a capped deposit and the prescribed Form 1 notice. "From" figures for a refresh, a full renovation and an ensuite let owners see roughly where they'll land. You choose the figures; we only show what you approve.

Do we need to say anything about building indemnity insurance?

Only what applies to how you work. The Law Handbook says the insurance is required where domestic building work over $20,000 needs development approval, and it has to be in place before work starts. If your bathroom jobs rarely need approval, a long insurance section could confuse people. We'd keep it to a short line in your own words with a link to the Handbook, so it's easy to update.

Can the site take referrals from Support at Home providers and OTs?

Yes. We can add a referral form with fields for the provider, the occupational therapist's prescription and the client's address and access needs, and a page explaining what you install and how quickly. Under Support at Home, an OT prescribes each home modification and the provider arranges the work, so the page is written for them as much as for the client.

We do a lot of work in Colonel Light Gardens. What should the site say?

That you know the area, and that approvals are checked before a start date is set. The state says changes to any property in a State Heritage Area need development approval through the council, and its definition of development includes non-structural alterations. A suburb page with photos of your work there, and a note on how you handle the approval question with the owner and the council, is more useful than a general heritage paragraph. The council gives the answer; the site just raises it early.

Want a website that shows Adelaide owners your bathrooms?

Send us your CBS licence details, your plumber's and electrician's licences, your own words about how a job runs, the suburbs you cover and a few before-and-after pairs, and tell us whether houses, units or accessible bathrooms keep you busiest. We quote first, build the draft, and you pay only once you're happy with it.
