Website Design for Bathroom Renovators

Websites for bathroom renovation businesses that put the finished room beside the "before", give a straight answer on price, and walk the homeowner through the weeks their bathroom will be out of action.

What a bathroom renovation website needs to show

A new bathroom is a big spend, and the household goes without that room while you work. Before anyone rings a renovator, they want to know three things: will mine look like the photos, roughly what will it cost, and how long will the house be upside down.

  • Before-and-after pairs from the same angle

A tired 1970s bathroom next to the finished room, shot from the doorway both times. Add the suburb and what changed (new layout, walk-in shower, floor-to-ceiling tiles, wall-hung vanity) and the gallery answers "could they do ours?" without a phone call.

  • A price guide, even a rough one

A starting price for a standard bathroom, or ranges for a like-for-like refresh versus a full layout change, filters out enquiries that don't match your work. You set the figures and the wording; the site shows only what you approve.

  • The renovation timeline, stage by stage

Strip-out, rough-in plumbing and electrical, waterproofing, tiling, fit-off and the final clean, with how long each stage usually takes on your jobs. Customers use it to plan where they'll shower and when the dust will settle.

  • Waterproofing and licences spelt out

Customers worry about waterproofing because a failure is expensive and hidden behind the tiles. Name the standard your waterproofing follows (AS 3740 covers domestic wet areas), mention any certificate the customer receives at the end, and list the licences held by you and your trades. In NSW, waterproofing and wall and floor tiling are each licensed trades.

  • Who runs the job

Homeowners want to know whether you manage the plumber, electrician, waterproofer and tiler, or whether they'll be coordinating trades themselves. If one person is their contact from measure-up to handover, name them and add a photo.

  • Fixtures, tiles and choices

The tapware, vanity and tile ranges you usually supply, whether customers can supply their own, and where they can see samples. Many arrive with a folder of saved photos; a section on choosing fixtures shows you can help them narrow it down.

Bathroom renovation work in our portfolio

Two clients in our portfolio include bathroom renovations in a wider business: Bright Building & Renovations, an Adelaide renovation builder, and M.J. Debney Plumbing & Gas in Queensland. Neither is a bathroom-only company, but both show how renovation work can be presented. The review underneath is from Michael Debney of M.J. Debney.

Questions bathroom renovators ask us

Should a bathroom renovator publish prices?

We suggest at least a starting point, such as a "from" price for a standard bathroom or a range by size. Exact prices depend on the room, so the page can say a fixed quote follows the measure-up. It's your decision, and nothing goes on the site without your approval.

How many bathrooms should the gallery start with?

Six to ten finished bathrooms is plenty to launch with, and three good before-and-after pairs do more than twenty similar finished shots. New photos can be added to the gallery after launch as part of the $30 monthly hosting.

Can customers send photos of their current bathroom?

Yes. The quote form can take photos and rough room measurements, and ask whether they want to keep the layout or move the shower, toilet or vanity. Moving plumbing changes the price, so knowing early helps you quote.

Which package suits a bathroom renovation business?

Bathrooms only and a small crew? The one-page site at $399 covers it. The 3-page site at $899 is the one we'd usually point renovators to, since the gallery and your process each get a page. Add kitchens, laundries or ensuites and you'll want the 8-page site at $1,499.

Do you work with renovators outside South Australia?

Yes. We're a web design team in Adelaide, South Australia (Ste 3/110 Hutt St), and we take on businesses Australia-wide, working by phone and email. Our clients so far are in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD.
