Website Design for Tilers

Websites for wall and floor tilers that lead with your bathroom work, show you take waterproofing seriously, and collect the room size and tile details you need to price a job.

What a tiling website needs to show

Tiling is judged on straight lines, even grout and floors that drain, and a customer can't check any of that until the job is finished. So they choose on photos, on whether you explain waterproofing, and on how clearly you quote. If bathrooms are a big share of your work, the site starts there.

  • A bathroom gallery with close-ups

Wide shots sell the finished room; close-ups of mitred corners, niche edges and the fall to the floor waste show the skill behind it. We lay out each bathroom as a small set of photos rather than a single image, labelled with the suburb and the tile used.

  • Waterproofing, stated plainly

A shower that leaks behind the tiles is an expensive fix, and customers know it. Say whether you waterproof yourself or bring in a separate applicator, which standard you work to (AS 3740 covers domestic wet areas), and whether you hand over a waterproofing certificate at the end of the job.

  • Licence and insurance where builders look

Builders and renovators often ask for a subcontractor's licence and insurance before booking them, and careful homeowners look for the same. Where your state issues a tiling licence, its number sits at the foot of each page beside your public liability details.

  • Jobs beyond the bathroom

Kitchen splashbacks, laundries, alfresco areas, pool surrounds and large-format floor tiles are all searched for separately. A line on each in a one-page site, or a page each on a bigger one, helps the right customer find you.

  • A quote form that asks the right things

Which room and roughly how many square metres, whether old tiles need removing, who's supplying the tiles, and photo uploads of the space. That's usually enough to price the job or decide whether it needs a site visit.

  • Who you take work from

Some tilers mostly work direct for homeowners; others subcontract to builders and bathroom renovators. Saying which you take on, and whether you handle a whole bathroom or tiling only, saves everyone time on enquiries you'd turn down.

Bathroom work on sites we've built

Our portfolio doesn't feature a tiling site, so the closest examples are a renovation builder with a page for bathroom renovations and a plumber whose services include them. The review below is from SA Tiling Pro Pty Ltd, a tiling company, about working with us.

Home page of the Bright Building & Renovations website

Bright Building & Renovations

Trades & construction · Adelaide, Adelaide Hills & Fleurieu

South Australian builder doing kitchen, bathroom, laundry and whole-home renovations. We built a 30-page site with seven service pages, a project gallery, planning guides, service-area pages and a seven-step quote form: a structure a larger tiling business could scale down.

Home page of the M.J. Debney Plumbing & Gas website

M.J. Debney Plumbing & Gas

Trades & construction · Queensland

Queensland plumber and gas fitter whose services include bathroom renovations. We built a single page with a six-service overview, a 13-photo gallery that swipes on mobile, testimonials and a protected contact form, a layout that suits a tiler working on their own.

“…gave us a fixed quote so we knew exactly what we were paying, and turned around the build faster than we thought possible.”

Questions tilers ask us

Should a tiler's website mention waterproofing certificates?

If you issue one, yes. A line saying you waterproof wet areas to AS 3740 and hand over a certificate when the job is done answers a question that builders and careful homeowners ask, and it shows you treat the hidden part of the job as seriously as the tiles.

Which package suits a tiler?

Most tilers working alone or with an offsider are well served by the one-page site at $399. If you want separate pages for bathrooms and for floors or outdoor work, the 3-page site at $899 suits. The 8-page site at $1,499 is for larger tiling businesses with several crews or job types.

Which states license tilers, and what goes on the site?

NSW licenses wall and floor tiling on residential jobs above a set value, and that licence covers waterproofing a wet area to get it ready for tiles. Queensland's QBCC wall and floor tiling licence includes applying waterproofing for tiling. In Victoria, a tiling-only job doesn't need building practitioner registration. Where you hold a licence, the number goes on the site; where you don't need one, photos, reviews and insurance carry the weight.

Can customers send photos and measurements through the form?

Yes. The quote form can take photo uploads plus fields for room size, tile supply and removal of old tiles, and each enquiry lands in your inbox ready to price.

Can the site show bathrooms tiled as a subcontractor?

Usually, as long as the builder or homeowner is happy for you to. Captions can give the suburb and the job type without naming the builder or the street, or describe the work as subcontract tiling for a local builder. Ask before you take the photos so there are no surprises later.

Do you only work with tilers in Adelaide?

No. We're based in Adelaide and work with businesses Australia-wide by phone and email, with current clients in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD.
