Website Design for Accountants in Bunbury

Websites for tax agents, BAS agents and accounting practices in Bunbury and Greater Bunbury, from Australind and Eaton to Dalyellup, Capel and Harvey. Contractors to the port and the industrial sites, farm families, landlords and workers facing a redundancy can each find the part of your practice that deals with their situation.

What a Bunbury practice's website should cover

Bunbury is a regional centre with a heavier business mix than its size suggests. In June 2025 the ABS counted 2,936 businesses in the City of Bunbury, and 403 of them turned over $2 million or more, more than in the City of Mandurah, which has nearly twice as many businesses. A practice site here often has to speak to a finance manager and a farm family on the same day.

  • A page for established employers

Businesses supplying the port, Worsley, Kemerton and the hospitals need payroll, payroll tax, cash flow and structuring help, not a sole trader checklist. Give them a page that names that work and the size of business you usually look after, so a contractor's office manager can tell in a minute whether you fit.

  • Redundancy and job change

When Albemarle put its last operating processing train at Kemerton into care and maintenance in February 2026, about 250 jobs linked to running the refinery were to go. If you help people with termination payments, leave payouts and their next tax return, say so on a short page and link to the ATO's guide to genuine redundancy payments rather than explaining the limits yourself.

  • Farm clients beyond the city boundary

Most of the region's farms are outside the City of Bunbury: the ABS counted 314 agriculture, forestry and fishing businesses in the Shire of Harvey, 179 in Capel and 160 in Dardanup, against 80 in the city. A farm page written in farm terms, naming the shires you cover, reaches those families.

  • Landlords and property investors

More than a third of Bunbury homes were rented at the 2021 Census. Investors want to know you'll handle rental schedules, depreciation reports from their quantity surveyor and the sale of a property they've held for years. A short section on it, linked to the ATO's rental property pages, gives them a reason to call.

  • TPB details and client information

Your registration number and type with a link to your TPB Register entry, and a page holding the client information the TPB expects you to give, linked from the footer of every page.

  • Getting there from the four councils

Clients drive in from Australind, Eaton, Dalyellup and Capel. Name the office, the car park and the towns you serve, and offer phone or video appointments for people who'd otherwise lose half a day to a meeting.

Accounting in Greater Bunbury: industry, farms and a big rental market

Rules shared with Perth. TPB registration, the client information requirements and WA payroll tax work the same in Bunbury as in the capital; our Perth accountants page sets them out with sources. This section is about what Bunbury practices see that others don't.

A centre for four councils. Greater Bunbury is planned as one region across the City of Bunbury and the shires of Harvey, Dardanup and Capel, and in June 2025 those four councils held 6,927 businesses between them, 2,936 in the city itself. The city had 158 businesses employing 20 or more people, more than the 144 in the much larger City of Mandurah, and its count of businesses turning over $2 million or more rose from 311 in 2021 to 403 in 2025. Health care and social assistance grew fastest, from 242 businesses to 310. For a practice website, that means more clients with staff, payroll and growth questions than the city's 32,987 residents would suggest, and a services list that should reach past individual returns.

The industrial sites. The Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area sits about 17 km north-east of the city in the Shire of Harvey. On 12 February 2026 Albemarle said it would place its last operating lithium hydroxide train at Kemerton into care and maintenance, with about 250 jobs linked to running the refinery to go, following about 300 redundancies announced in August 2024. The ATO says a genuine redundancy payment is tax-free up to a limit based on years of service, with amounts above that taxed as an employment termination payment. A practice that has seen many of these returns can say so; it's a search people in the South West are making. The suppliers and contractors around these sites are a separate audience: they need advice on contracts ending or slowing, and the site should talk to them as businesses.

Renters and landlords. At the 2021 Census, 34.1% of occupied homes in the City of Bunbury were rented, against 27.3% across WA, and 418 of the city's businesses were in rental, hiring and real estate services in 2025, about one in seven. That's a lot of rental schedules and investment property questions. A clear page for property investors, with a list of what to bring and a link to the ATO's residential rental property guidance, saves your staff repeat calls in July.

Working with us. We're an Adelaide team and work with South West practices by phone and email; we don't travel to Bunbury. We've built a website for an accounting firm, and our current clients are in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD, not WA. Bunbury keeps Perth time, 1.5 hours behind Adelaide, or 2.5 during South Australian daylight saving. For other kinds of Bunbury business, see our Bunbury web design page.

Sites that cover a region and its services clearly

Neither of these is an accounting firm; we've built one of those too. One shows how to make a service area across several councils easy to read, and the other how to set out credentials and take bookings. The review is from a client talking about how we handled revisions.

Questions Bunbury accountants ask us

Should we have a page about redundancy payments?

If you've been helping people through redundancies from Kemerton or elsewhere, yes. Keep it short: what you help with, what to bring, and a link to the ATO's guide to genuine redundancy payments. Leave out anything that reads like a promised refund; the wording is yours, and we lay it out.

Our farm clients are in Harvey and Capel. How should the site show that?

Give farm clients their own page and name the shires and towns you cover, because a family near Harvey or Capel searches by those names, not Bunbury. If you visit farms or hold appointment days outside the office, say so on the same page.

We look after larger businesses as well as individuals. Can one site do both?

Yes. The home page splits early into businesses and individuals, and each path has its own pages, so a contractor's finance manager doesn't wade through tax return checklists. The 8-page site at $1,499 usually gives enough room for that.

Can clients send documents through the website?

We'd keep tax documents out of website forms. A portal button in the header and on the contact page, labelled clearly, sends clients to the secure tool you already use, and the enquiry form only asks for what you need to call them back.

You're in Adelaide. How does a Bunbury project work?

By phone and email. You send your services, registration details, wording and photos of your team; we build a draft and send you a link. Ask for as many changes as you like, then pay once you approve it. If you don't go ahead, you owe nothing.

Ready for a website that fits a South West practice?

Tell us who you look after, from employers and contractors to farms, landlords and individuals, and which towns they come from. We'll send a fixed quote, build the draft, and you pay once you've approved it.
