Web Design for Bunbury Businesses

Custom, hand-coded websites for businesses in Bunbury and across Greater Bunbury, from Australind and Eaton to Dalyellup, Capel and the Ferguson Valley. Our Adelaide team builds them with you by phone and email, at the same fixed prices as a site for a Perth business.

What a Bunbury website needs to do

Bunbury's customers range from households in the city and the shires around it to procurement staff at industrial sites and visitors on their way down to the South West. Here's what each tends to look for, and the parts of our offer that cover it.

  • Affordable, and fixed in writing

A one-page site costs $399. Up to three pages is $899 and up to eight is $1,499. Being 175 km from Perth doesn't add a cent, no GST is charged because we aren't registered for it, and you pay nothing until the draft is approved. Hosting afterwards is $30 a month, with no contract.

  • Small business sites that name the whole region

Customers search by locality: Australind, Eaton, Dalyellup, Glen Iris, Usher, Capel, Harvey. A small business site that lists the places you actually go, and says which days you reach the outlying towns, answers the first question before anyone has to ring.

  • Custom design for the work you do

Every site is designed and coded by hand for one business. A Ferguson Valley farm-gate shop gets opening hours and directions up front; an industrial electrician gets licences, services and site experience. There's no template underneath and no page builder subscription to keep paying.

  • Web developer work for industrial buyers

Contractors, fabricators and labour hire firms supplying the port, Kemerton or the alumina and lithium operations are often vetted on paper first. The people designing your site also write its code, so forms that take drawings, multi-step enquiry forms and capability pages are part of the build rather than an extra handed to someone else.

  • Redesigns at the same prices

If your current site is slow, awkward to update or still lists an old phone number, we rebuild it for the same price as a new one. The old site stays up until you approve the replacement, and your domain stays registered in your name.

  • Online stores for South West produce and products

A grower, roaster or maker can sell direct with a $799 store: up to 25 products, one payment gateway and basic order management. The $1,999 store adds unlimited products, multiple payment options, customer accounts and advanced shipping, for a range that goes out around Australia.

  • Bookings for tours, appointments and classes

Dolphin cruises, fitness classes and clinic appointments all run on time slots. We build booking and payment systems into sites, quoted per job, or link one you already use, such as Fresha, Cliniko, HotDoc or Calendly.

Bunbury and the South West economy

Bunbury is about 175 km south of Perth, and the City promotes it as Western Australia's second city, less than two hours south of the capital. The urban area had 76,452 residents at the 2021 census. Greater Bunbury is planned as one region across four councils, the City of Bunbury and the Shires of Harvey, Dardanup and Capel, so the city's customers live as much in Australind, Eaton and Dalyellup as inside its own boundary. Since 2024 the Wilman Wadandi Highway has linked Forrest Highway at Australind with Bussell Highway at Dalyellup.

Industry around Bunbury centres on the port and mineral processing. The Port of Bunbury, run by Southern Ports, handles about 16.9 million tonnes of trade, including alumina, grain, spodumene, caustic soda, woodchips, mineral and silica sands, copper concentrate, coal, fertiliser and fuel, and Southern Ports calls it the world's largest lithium export port. Alumina from the Worsley refinery, majority-owned by South32, travels about 55 km to the port for shipping. The Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area, about 17 km north-east of the city in the Shire of Harvey, covers 7,510 hectares, with Albemarle's lithium hydroxide processing, Simcoa's silicon production and Tronox's Bunbury pigment operation among the businesses listed there. Sites like these buy in services, and the contractors who supply them are usually selling to a procurement officer, not a householder.

Tourism brings a different customer. The Dolphin Discovery Centre on Koombana Drive has a seasonal, free dolphin interaction zone, eco-cruises all year, swims with the dolphins from November to April and a 60-minute cruise past the working harbour. The Bunbury Geographe tourism region groups Bunbury with Capel's old tuart trees and long beaches, the trails of the Collie River Valley, the food and wine of the Ferguson Valley in Dardanup, and the farmland and produce of the Harvey region. Many visitors plan on their phones, some of them on the drive down from Perth, so a tour, café or accommodation site needs times, prices and a way to book near the top.

Edith Cowan University and South Regional TAFE both have Bunbury campuses, and Bunbury Airport is 8 km south-east of the centre. For trades, our pages on Bunbury tradie websites, plumbers and electricians go into licensing, Aqwest and bushfire paperwork; this page is the general one for every kind of business.

We're an Adelaide team and work with South West businesses by phone and email; we don't travel to Bunbury. We haven't built a site for a WA client yet, so the examples below come from Adelaide and regional New South Wales. For the capital, see web design in Perth, and for the coast north of Mandurah, our Rockingham page.

Examples for a regional industry city

No client of ours is in Bunbury or elsewhere in WA. These three were chosen for needs Bunbury businesses share: a quote form technical buyers can send files through, a service business covering a wide area suburb by suburb, and a contractor working across a big regional patch.

Home page of the Simple Engineers website

Simple Engineers

Professional services · Adelaide

Structural engineers in Adelaide. Four service pages, 16 articles and a quote form that shows fee ranges and accepts file uploads, so homeowners and builders send plans with the first enquiry. A Bunbury fabricator or engineering contractor could receive drawings and specifications the same way.

Home page of the Phoenix Housekeeping website

Phoenix Housekeeping

Home & care services · Lake Macquarie, Cessnock & Central Coast

A family-run cleaning business covering Lake Macquarie, Cessnock and the Central Coast in New South Wales. Published pricing, service pages, suburb pages across its area and a quote form with a discreet call-back option: a pattern that works for a Bunbury business serving Australind, Eaton and Dalyellup as well as the city.

Home page of the Tomi's Bobcat and Excavation website

Tomi's Bobcat and Excavation

Trades & construction · South Pambula & Bega Valley

Bobcat and excavator operators in the Bega Valley, on the far south coast of New South Wales, doing earthworks, structural landscaping and licensed pool building. One page holds a section per service, a 42-photo gallery and testimonials, as an earthmoving or landscaping business working out from Bunbury to Harvey and Capel might want.

“Rebuilt two websites for our businesses and saved us a fortune on hosting etc. Nothing is ever a problem, will email back on a Saturday night if need be.”

Questions from Bunbury businesses

Do Bunbury businesses pay Perth prices?

Our prices are the same everywhere in Australia: $399 for one page, $899 for up to 3 pages and $1,499 for up to 8, with online stores at $799 or $1,999. There's no travel charge, no GST and no deposit, and you pay once you've approved the draft.

How do we work together from Bunbury?

By phone and email. You send your words, photos and logo (or ask us to help with a logo, at no charge), we build a draft you can open on your phone, and you reply with changes until you're happy. Bunbury runs on Perth time, 1.5 hours behind Adelaide, or 2.5 hours during South Australian daylight saving; we're open 7am to 8pm Adelaide time, seven days.

Can you redesign our existing site without losing what's on it?

Yes. We bring your current words and photos across, rebuild the site at the same price as a new one and point old page addresses to the new pages, then switch over once you approve. You keep your domain; if you don't have one yet, we register one in your name for about $20 a year.

Can customers book and pay online?

Yes. We build booking and payment systems into websites and quote them per job, since every tour, clinic and class runs differently. If you already use Fresha, Cliniko, HotDoc or Calendly, we can link that from your site instead. See booking website design for how it works.

We supply the industrial sites around Bunbury. What should our site show?

Usually your licences and certifications, the services and equipment you offer, the kinds of sites and jobs you're set up for, and a contact form that accepts documents. The words and details come from you; we arrange them so a buyer can find them quickly. No website can promise contracts, but this makes your business easy to check.

How long does a Bunbury website take?

Most sites are live within 5–10 days of us getting your words and photos; bigger sites (up to 8 pages) take 2–3 weeks. We reply within 24 hours throughout, and nothing goes live until you've approved it.
