Website Design for Tradies in Mandurah

Websites for Mandurah and Peel trades, from sparkies and plumbers to jetty builders and landscapers, that carry your WA licence number, name the towns you'll drive to between Baldivis and Waroona, and give an owner who lives up in Perth a simple way to arrange work at their Mandurah place.

What a Mandurah trade website has to cover

Work in the Peel arrives from several directions: households around the estuary, canal-home owners with a jetty or deck out the back, people building in the Murray towns such as Pinjarra and Ravenswood, and customers over the boundary in Rockingham's southern suburbs. Each of them should be able to see within a few seconds that you do their kind of job, in their part of the region.

  • Your WA number, labelled and checkable

Registered builders and painters, electrical contractors and plumbing contractors in WA must show their number when they advertise, and a website is advertising. We place every number you hold in the footer of each page, beside the business name it was issued to, so a customer can look it up on the state's licence search before ringing.

  • A travel line that crosses the metro boundary

Mandurah sits about 72 km south of Perth, and the City of Rockingham's suburbs begin a short drive north. If you take jobs in Baldivis, Secret Harbour or Golden Bay, or inland at Pinjarra and Dwellingup, name them, then add one sentence on where you stop or start charging for the drive.

  • Waterfront jobs explained step by step

Jetty builders, deck and boat-lift installers and marine electricians working the canals at Halls Head, Wannanup or South Yunderup can set out what a canal owner faces: local approvals first, then a Department of Transport licence before a new jetty goes in. A short section in that order answers the question an owner has before picking up the phone.

  • A form for owners who aren't there

If some of your customers own a Mandurah house but live in Perth or interstate, give your quote form an option for an owner who lives elsewhere, a box for access and key arrangements, and a note that you'll send photos and an emailed invoice once the job is done. It saves them a drive down the freeway to let you in.

  • Fire-season clearing with the City's dates

The City of Mandurah's 2026–27 fire break notice wants work finished by 17 November 2026 and kept that way until 31 May 2027. On lots under 4,000 square metres, vegetation has to be cut to 40 mm and flammable material removed; larger lots need a 4-metre mineral-earth firebreak. Mowing, slashing and block-clearing trades can name those jobs and the deadline.

  • Photos captioned with the job and the place

Captions such as Jetty decking replaced, Wannanup or Switchboard upgrade, Meadow Springs tell a customer what you did and that you've already been near them. Across a region that runs from Madora Bay to Dwellingup, that second part counts for more than a general claim about service.

The Peel, the estuary and the fire notice

Licensing is statewide. A Mandurah trade answers to the same WA regulators as one in Perth: builders and painters are registered, and electrical and plumbing contractors licensed, through Building and Energy and its licensing boards, and each scheme expects your number in your advertising. Our Perth tradies page lists the regulations behind that. On your site, the job is putting the numbers where customers look for them.

One region, five councils. The Peel Development Commission covers the City of Mandurah and the shires of Murray, Waroona, Boddington and Serpentine-Jarrahdale. Its May 2025 population snapshot estimates the region at 168,461 people in 2024, with Mandurah at 102,922 and Murray at 20,563, and the state's midline projections add roughly 27,000 people to Mandurah and 9,000 to Murray by 2036. Murray takes in Pinjarra, its seat, plus Ravenswood, Barragup, Furnissdale, North and South Yunderup and Dwellingup. The City of Rockingham's southern suburbs, including Singleton, Golden Bay, Secret Harbour and Baldivis, begin just north of Mandurah's, so a site that names the Rockingham suburbs you work in as well as the Peel towns tells customers on both sides of the boundary that you'll come to them.

Built around the water. The Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary sit at the centre of Mandurah, and suburbs including Halls Head, Dudley Park and Wannanup have canal estates running off the inlet; South Yunderup, in the Shire of Murray, is mostly canals at the mouth of the Murray River. The Dawesville Channel, opened in 1994, lets seawater flush through the inlet. Every private jetty in WA has to be licensed by the Department of Transport. A new one needs an Erect and Construct licence, the application includes copies of the local government's approvals, and building can't begin until the licence is granted. A marine construction site that lays out those steps, and links to the department's page, saves a lot of explaining on the phone.

Fire season. Each WA council issues its own notice under the Bush Fires Act 1954. Mandurah's 2026–27 notice applies to occupied and vacant land alike, set 1 November 2026 as the last day to apply for an alternative arrangement, and requires the work to be maintained until the end of May. The Shire of Murray and the other neighbouring councils publish their own notices with their own rules, so a clearing business working across council lines should link to each council's notice rather than copy dates that change every year. Builders working on land shown on the state's Map of Bush Fire Prone Areas may also need a BAL (bushfire attack level) assessment to support the building permit application, which is worth a line on a builder's services page.

Working with us from Adelaide. We're a web design team in Adelaide and work with Peel businesses by phone and email. We haven't yet built for a WA client, so the examples below are from other states. Mandurah keeps Perth time, 1.5 hours behind Adelaide, or 2.5 hours while South Australia is on daylight saving from October to April.

Trade sites we've built in other states

Neither of these businesses is in WA. They're here because each solves a problem a Peel trade has: a builder covering several distinct areas, and an earthworks and pool-building business working a regional stretch of the NSW far south coast.

Questions Mandurah tradies ask us

Can a Mandurah trade site also target Rockingham suburbs?

Yes, if you genuinely work there. Name the suburbs, such as Baldivis, Secret Harbour and Golden Bay, in your service area, and add photos of jobs you've done there. On the 8-page site, Rockingham can have its own page. Don't list places you won't drive to; it just brings calls you'll turn down.

Should a jetty builder explain the Department of Transport licence?

Briefly, yes. Owners want to know the order of things: local approvals, then a Department of Transport jetty licence, and no construction on a new jetty until that licence is granted. Explain what you handle and what the owner arranges, and link to the department's own page for the detail rather than restating its rules.

We slash and clear blocks. What should the site say about fire notices?

Name the jobs in the words the notice uses, such as firebreaks, slashing and removing flammable material, and say which councils you work in. Mandurah's 2026–27 deadline is 17 November 2026; Murray and the other neighbouring councils set their own. Linking to each council's notice keeps your page right when the dates change next year.

How can owners who live in Perth book a job at their Mandurah place?

Through the quote form, with an option to say the owner lives elsewhere and a field for access arrangements. You confirm by email or text, send photos when you've finished, and invoice by email. If you'd like customers to book times and pay online, we can build that into the site, quoted with the rest of your job.

How does an Adelaide team build a website for a Mandurah tradie?

Entirely by phone and email. You send your services, licence numbers, the suburbs you cover and some job photos; we build a draft you can open on your phone and ask for changes until it's right. Prices run from $399 for one page to $899 for up to 3 pages and $1,499 for up to 8. No GST is added, and there's nothing to pay until you approve the draft.
