Website Design for NDIS Providers in Geelong

Websites for disability support providers working across Greater Geelong, the Bellarine, the Surf Coast and Colac Otway. A participant, a parent, a support coordinator or a plan manager can see what you deliver, which suburbs your workers get to, how you're registered and how to send you a referral.

What a Geelong provider's website needs to show

The NDIS started in the Barwon region on 1 July 2013, so some Geelong families have used the scheme for longer than almost anyone else in the country. People who have changed providers a few times tend to know what they're looking for and skip sites that don't answer it. These are the details we'd put in front of them.

  • The suburbs where participants live

The NDIA's June 2026 counts by statistical area put Corio–Norlane first in the region with 1,925 participants, then Grovedale with 1,860, Ocean Grove–Barwon Heads with 1,200 and Lara with 1,089. A list of the suburbs your workers really cover, by name, is more use to a family in Norlane than "Geelong and surrounds".

  • Invoicing details for plan managers

Close to three in every four Barwon plans are plan-managed, so a plan manager is often the second person to look at your site. Give your trading name exactly as it appears on invoices, your ABN, the email that invoices come from and how often you send them.

  • One clear line on registration

Say whether you're registered with the NDIS Commission, in words that match its Provider Register. Participants whose plans are NDIA-managed can only use registered providers; there were 638 of them in Barwon in June 2026, a small group, but one that needs a straight answer before it rings you.

  • Room for new participants, kept current

Participant numbers in the City of Greater Geelong rose from 8,674 in June 2022 to 12,451 in June 2026, and capacity changes week to week. A short note on the home page about where you have openings and where there's a wait saves coordinators a call, and editing it is covered by the $30 monthly hosting.

  • Children's supports on a page of their own

Families with a child under 6, or under 9 with a disability, usually come through the early childhood approach rather than local area coordination. If you work with children, give them a separate page covering the age groups you see, where sessions happen and the Working with Children Check your workers hold.

  • Coastal and inland towns, with travel terms

Surf Coast Shire had 879 participants and Colac Otway 838 in June 2026, and Surf Coast's figure has grown by more than half since 2022. If you travel to Torquay, Anglesea or Colac, name those towns, say which days you're there if that's fixed, and explain how travel time is charged.

NDIS providers in Geelong and the Barwon district

The state rules, briefly. Nothing about Victoria's rules is different in Geelong. Workers in risk-assessed roles apply for their NDIS Worker Screening Check online through Service Victoria, the state's NDIS Worker Screening Unit assesses it, and a clearance lasts five years, though it doesn't replace a Victorian Working with Children Check. Victoria also has its own regulator for the disability workforce, the Victorian Disability Worker Commission. We set out both, with links to the official guidance, on our Melbourne NDIS provider page.

Victoria's first NDIS region. Barwon was one of the scheme's original launch sites in July 2013, alongside South Australia, Tasmania and the Hunter. At 30 June 2026 the NDIA counted 14,217 participants in its Barwon service district: 12,451 in Greater Geelong, 879 in Surf Coast, 838 in Colac Otway and 49 in the Borough of Queenscliffe. Greater Geelong alone grew by about 44% in four years, so a provider that was full in 2023 may well have a different story to tell now.

Who refers to you. Latrobe Community Health Service is the NDIA's local area coordination partner for Barwon, with offices in Geelong and Colac, and coordinators there are often the first people to suggest a provider to a participant aged 9 to 64. For younger children, Meli, which brings together Barwon Child, Youth & Family and Bethany, runs the NDIS early childhood approach across the Barwon region. One boundary catches people out: Golden Plains Shire, home to Bannockburn and Teesdale just north-west of Geelong, sits in the NDIA's Central Highlands district instead, with 992 participants and Latrobe Community Health Service's Ballarat and Bacchus Marsh offices as its local contacts.

How plans are paid. Of the 14,217 Barwon plans, 10,422 (73.3%) were plan-managed in June 2026, 15.5% fully self-managed, 6.3% partly self-managed and 4.5% NDIA-managed. Across Australia the shares were 68.8% plan-managed and 6.0% NDIA-managed. In practice, most invoices you send in Geelong will pass through a plan manager, and outside the supports that require registration, most participants are free to choose an unregistered provider, which is why your registration status and invoicing details both belong somewhere obvious.

How we'd work with you. We're an Adelaide team, half an hour behind Geelong on the clock, and we work with Victorian providers by phone and email. None of our clients is in Geelong, and the one Victorian client in our portfolio is a coaching practice in Melbourne. If your work is therapy rather than support work, our Geelong allied health page covers the TAC, WorkSafe and GP referral side.

Care websites we've built

No Geelong provider is in our portfolio, and neither is a business whose main work is NDIS supports. The two closest are a home support service for older people in Adelaide and a New South Wales cleaning business with an NDIS cleaning service.

Home page of the Golden Years Aged Care Support website

Golden Years Aged Care Support

Home & care services · Northern Adelaide

Golden Years Aged Care Support helps older people stay at home in Northern Adelaide. Its enquiry form lets an aged care provider flag that it's making a referral, which is the same job a coordinator referral form does on an NDIS site, and the text is set large with a call button on every one of its six pages.

Home page of the Phoenix Housekeeping website

Phoenix Housekeeping

Home & care services · Lake Macquarie, Cessnock & Central Coast

Phoenix Housekeeping cleans homes around Lake Macquarie, Cessnock and the Central Coast. Its NDIS cleaning service sits alongside its other work, and its suburb pages describe each part of a spread-out service area, much as a Geelong provider might treat the Bellarine, the Surf Coast and Colac separately.

“He listened to my feedback and made no hesitations to revise and adjust my website until we were completely happy with it.”

Questions Geelong NDIS providers ask us

Should Bannockburn and Teesdale go under Geelong on our site?

List them if your workers go there, but give Golden Plains Shire its own short heading. The NDIA counts the shire in its Central Highlands district rather than Barwon, so a coordinator referring someone from Bannockburn may well be based in Ballarat or Bacchus Marsh.

Most of our participants are plan-managed. What does a plan manager look for?

Proof they can pay you without chasing: the business name on your invoices, your ABN, whether you're registered, and an email address for invoice questions. Put those on the referrals or contact page rather than burying them in a PDF service agreement.

We see children on the Bellarine. What should their page say?

The ages you work with, whether sessions happen at home, at kinder or in a clinic, which towns you reach and that your workers hold a Victorian Working with Children Check as well as an NDIS clearance. Families coming through the early childhood approach in Barwon will usually have spoken to Meli first, so mention it if they're often how families find you.

Can people book an intake call through the website?

Yes. If you already use a booking tool such as Calendly, we link it from the referrals page. We can also build online booking into the site itself, quoted separately once we know how your intake works. Many providers are happy with a referral form and a phone number.

Is an Adelaide team practical for a Geelong provider?

Yes. We're a web design team at Ste 3/110 Hutt St, Adelaide, working with businesses Australia-wide by phone and email, with current clients in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD. You send your supports, suburbs and photos, we send a draft link to check, and you pay once you approve it. We reply within 24 hours.

Starting a website for your Geelong NDIS service?

Send us the supports you deliver, your registration status and the suburbs and towns your workers reach. We'll quote, build a draft, and you pay nothing until you approve it.
