Website Design for Lawyers on the Gold Coast

Websites for Gold Coast solicitors, whether you work near the Southport courthouse, from Robina or Burleigh, or down at Coolangatta with clients on both sides of the border: each area of law on its own page, an enquiry form that's safe to use, and appointment times that read correctly in Tweed Heads as well as Queensland.

What a Gold Coast law firm's website needs

The coast's main courthouse is in Southport, the nearest family law registry is in Brisbane, and its southern suburbs run straight into New South Wales. A firm's site has to tell each client which of those applies to them, and give someone in a frightening situation a safe way to ask for help.

  • Family violence pages built for safety

Southport has one of Queensland's specialist domestic and family violence courts. If you act in those matters, the page gets a quick-exit button, a short note on browsing privately, the support lines Queensland Courts lists, and an enquiry form that asks only for a safe number and a safe time to call.

  • The courthouse, named once and clearly

Your criminal, traffic and family pages can name the Southport courthouse, on the corner of Davenport and Hinze Streets, and say in your words what to bring and where to find you on the day. If you also appear at Coolangatta Magistrates Court, say so.

  • Which side of the border you act on

A house in Coolangatta is sold under Queensland law and one in Banora Point under NSW law. Say which side each service covers, and if a solicitor handles NSW matters or appears at Tweed Heads Local Court, put it on their profile.

  • Appointment times that allow for daylight saving

NSW moves its clocks forward in October and Queensland doesn't. A booking tool set to Brisbane time should label it, so a client in Kingscliff doesn't arrive an hour early or late in summer. We can link Calendly or a tool you already use, or build a booking and payment system into the site, quoted for your firm.

  • Body corporate work, if you do it

The coast has more community titles schemes than Brisbane City. A page for owners and committees can explain, in your words, when a dispute goes to the Queensland Government's body corporate dispute resolution service and what you do at conciliation or adjudication.

  • Profiles and fees

Each solicitor's photo, admission year and areas of work, with any QLS accreditation shown beside their own name, plus “from” prices for fixed-fee work such as wills or a unit purchase, and a line on how everything else is billed.

Practising law on the Gold Coast

Queensland's rules, briefly. Coast firms work under the same Queensland legislation and conduct rules as Brisbane's, including the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act limits on what a firm's own website can say about injury claims and the QLS guidelines on showing specialist accreditation. Our Brisbane lawyers page sets those out with links to the legislation and QLS guidance. The injury limits have already been tested here: in May 2026 QLS's Proctor reported that QCAT had publicly reprimanded the principal of a Gold Coast personal injury firm over statements on the firm's website. Below is what's particular to the coast.

Southport. The courthouse on the corner of Davenport and Hinze Streets houses Southport Magistrates Court and the coast's District Court and Planning and Environment Court registries. Southport is where Queensland began its specialist domestic and family violence court, as a trial that started on 1 September 2015, and Queensland Courts now lists it among six specialist DFV court locations with Beenleigh, Brisbane, Cairns, Mount Isa and Townsville. Those courts have dedicated magistrates, specialist DFV duty lawyers and court support services. At the southern end of the city, Coolangatta Magistrates Court is at 136 Musgrave Street.

Family law goes north. The Federal Circuit and Family Court's Queensland locations are Brisbane, Bundaberg, Cairns, Hervey Bay, Mackay, Maroochydore, Rockhampton, Toowoomba and Townsville, none of them on the Gold Coast. The Brisbane registry is in the Harry Gibbs Commonwealth Law Courts at 119 North Quay. A family law page that tells a Robina parent where their matter is likely to be heard, and whether you attend with them, answers a question people often feel awkward asking.

The border and the body corporate. Just over the border, Tweed Heads Local Court is at 50-52 Recreation Street, and NSW observes daylight saving from the first Sunday in October to the first Sunday in April while Queensland stays on standard time. Many coast clients also live in units: a count Titles Queensland published in July 2026 puts 14,093 community titles schemes in the Gold Coast council area, ahead of Brisbane City's 13,621. Body corporate disputes that owners can't settle themselves can go to the Queensland Government's dispute resolution service for conciliation or adjudication.

The local profession, and us. The Gold Coast District Law Association is one of QLS's district law associations, and My Community Legal Gold Coast, an independent initiative of the association, is a charity law practice where volunteer local practitioners and law students give free advice at Robina on Thursday evenings and at Southport by booking. If your solicitors volunteer there, a line on their profile says something useful about them. We're an Adelaide team and work with coast firms by phone and email. We haven't yet built a Gold Coast law firm's site, and we don't visit offices.

Work that suits a coast practice

Neither site is a Gold Coast law firm's. Resolve Forward handles family law disputes, and Dr Tabara Dione's coaching site is built around discretion, the tone a family or criminal practice wants from its first page.

Questions Gold Coast law firms ask us

We act in domestic violence matters at Southport. What should the site include?

A quick-exit button on those pages, a note about private browsing, DVConnect (1800 811 811) and 1800RESPECT (1800 737 732) as Queensland Courts lists them, and an enquiry form asking only for safe contact details. Describe how your first appointment works in your own words; we arrange it so it's easy to read on a phone.

Some of our clients live in Tweed Heads. What should change?

Label the time zone on any booking tool so summer appointments don't go wrong, say plainly which services cover NSW matters, and mention Tweed Heads Local Court only if your solicitors appear there. NSW solicitors' rules differ from Queensland's; our Sydney lawyers page explains them.

Should we mention the Gold Coast District Law Association?

If your solicitors are members, or volunteer at My Community Legal Gold Coast, a line on their profiles is worth having. We only use an association's logo if you've been given permission, placed as supplied.

Can we have a page for body corporate disputes?

Yes. With thousands of schemes on the coast, a page for unit owners and committees makes sense if you do that work. You explain the stages and your role; we lay it out and can link to the Queensland Government's own guidance on conciliation and adjudication.

You're in Adelaide. How does it work for a Gold Coast firm?

By phone and email. We're an Adelaide (South Australia) web design team working with businesses Australia-wide, and our current clients are in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD. You send your words, photos and solicitor details, we send back a draft link, and you pay once you approve it. We reply within 24 hours.

Planning a website for your coast practice?

Tell us your areas of law, where you see clients and whether any of them live over the border. We'll quote and build the draft, and you pay once you're happy with it.

We reply within 24 hours. Prefer email? info@webcraftstudio.com.au
