Website Design for Air Conditioning and HVAC on the Gold Coast

Websites for Gold Coast air conditioning and refrigeration businesses, from apartment towers in Broadbeach to new houses in Pimpama and acreage in the Currumbin Valley. Your licences, the parts of the coast you cover and the jobs you want are up front, with tap-to-call on every screen.

What a Gold Coast air conditioning website needs

The same week can bring a unit owner on the 20th floor in Main Beach who needs the committee's sign-off before anything goes on the balcony, a holiday-let manager in Surfers Paradise with a split that stopped between guests, and a family in Pimpama wanting a ducted quote for a new house. A Gold Coast site has to speak to all three.

  • A page a body corporate committee can approve from

Owners in towers usually need approval before an outdoor unit or pipework touches common property. A page listing what you supply with a quote (the total cost, where the condenser and pipes will run, photos of similar installs, your licence and insurance) gives the owner something to send straight to the committee.

  • Floor, balcony and access on the quote form

Ask which floor the apartment is on, where an outdoor unit could sit (balcony, plant deck or roof) and whether the building manager needs to book access. You can price the job properly, and the owner knows what to sort out before you arrive.

  • Salt-air servicing named as its own job

Beachfront units take more salt and humidity than inland ones. If you clean coils and check for corrosion on coastal installs, give it a heading and say how often you'd suggest a service, so owners a street or two from the beach book it before the unit fails.

  • A line for holiday-let managers

If you look after short-stay apartments, say how quickly you can attend between check-out and check-in, and offer a contact route for managers looking after several units, separate from the homeowner form.

  • Tweed suburbs only once you can work there

Tweed Heads and Banora Point are in New South Wales. We leave them off your service area until you've confirmed you're licensed for air conditioning work south of the border.

  • A storm notice you can switch on

After a big blow, people want to know whether you're checking storm-damaged outdoor units and how long the wait is. A notice at the top of the home page, which we add or take down when you email us, keeps those calls manageable.

  • Areas from Ormeau to Coolangatta, and the valleys

We group your suburbs by the northern suburbs, the central strip, the southern beaches and the valleys, and keep only the groups you'll drive to for a breakdown.

Towers, salt air and a state border: air conditioning on the Gold Coast

The licensing rules are Queensland's, and our Brisbane air conditioning page sets them out: the QBCC's mechanical services—air-conditioning and refrigeration licences, the carve-out for single-head splits, the details the QBCC expects on a website, and the Electrical Safety Office's line between servicing and electrical installation. Energex runs the electricity network here too, so any PeakSmart cashback line needs checking against Energex's current terms. What sets the Gold Coast apart is the height of its buildings, the salt in the air and a state border through its southern suburbs.

Surfers Paradise got its first high-rise, the 10-storey Kinkabool, in 1959, and the suburb now has many high-rise apartment buildings. In a Queensland body corporate, an owner who wants to improve common property, such as running pipework through an external wall or fixing a condenser to it, needs approval. Under the standard rules (two-lot and commercial schemes differ), the committee can give it if the total cost is under $3,000, the improvement doesn't detract from the appearance of the lot and it isn't likely to cause a nuisance; otherwise it goes to an ordinary resolution at a general meeting. The owner has to give the body corporate details of the work and its value, and the Queensland Government's guidance says an air conditioning unit and pipework an owner installs on common property for their own use is the owner's to maintain, unless the body corporate agrees otherwise. The scheme's by-laws may also affect what's allowed. An installer whose site explains that, and supplies the details a committee asks for, saves everyone a round of emails.

The coast is wetter and more humid than Brisbane. Bureau of Meteorology averages give a mean January 3 pm humidity of 70% at the Gold Coast Seaway, against 57% at the Brisbane city station, and Coolangatta averages about 1,540 mm of rain a year, against about 1,060 mm in Brisbane. Daikin, for one, says its outdoor coils carry an anti-corrosion treatment against sea spray and that positioning and maintenance still matter near the coast. Storms test outdoor units as well: when Cyclone Alfred came through in March 2025, gusts above 100 km/h were recorded on the Gold Coast and an apartment building lost its roof.

At the southern end, Coolangatta's twin town, Tweed Heads, is in New South Wales and Tweed Shire. NSW requires a licence or certificate for air conditioning and refrigeration work, and the NSW Government says Queensland isn't currently part of the automatic mutual recognition scheme, so a QBCC licence doesn't carry across on its own. Check with Building Commission NSW before your site advertises Tweed Heads, Tweed Heads South or Banora Point; our Sydney air conditioning page covers the NSW licence.

The City of Gold Coast covers 1,334 square kilometres and had 625,087 residents at the 2021 census, which makes it the second most populous council in Queensland after Brisbane. Customers search by suburb, not council division: Ormeau, Pimpama, Coomera and Helensvale in the north, Southport to Broadbeach and Robina through the middle, Burleigh Heads to Coolangatta in the south, and the Currumbin, Tallebudgera and Numinbah valleys behind. We're an Adelaide team at Ste 3/110 Hutt St and work with Gold Coast businesses by phone and email; there's no air conditioning business in our portfolio yet.

Websites we've built that fit this kind of work

There's no HVAC business in our portfolio yet. The closest examples are a cleaning business that turns over holiday rentals in New South Wales, and a Queensland plumber and gas fitter. Neither is on the Gold Coast; both use the service-area lists, short forms and tap-to-call an air conditioning site needs.

Questions Gold Coast air conditioning businesses ask us

An apartment owner needs body corporate approval. What should our site give them?

A short page they can forward: what you'll install, where the outdoor unit and pipework will go, the total cost, photos of similar installs and your licence and insurance details. In Queensland the committee can approve an owner's improvement to common property under $3,000 if it meets the other conditions; anything else goes to a general meeting, so clear details help either way.

Can we advertise in Tweed Heads and Banora Point?

Only once you know you're licensed for air conditioning work in New South Wales. NSW requires a licence or certificate for that work, and Queensland isn't currently in the automatic mutual recognition scheme, so check with Building Commission NSW first. Once you have the answer, we'll add those suburbs and any NSW licence number to the site.

Should the site mention salt and corrosion?

If coastal servicing is part of your work, yes: say what a coastal service includes and how often you'd suggest one. Leave warranty promises to the manufacturers, and suggest owners check the conditions for their own unit. That keeps the page accurate whichever brands you work on.

Can holiday-let managers and building managers book through the site?

Yes. We can add a separate enquiry route that asks for the building, the unit numbers, the access arrangements and whether the job has to fit between guests. It sits apart from the homeowner form, so those requests are easy to spot. If you'd rather managers pick a time themselves, we can link the booking tool you already use, or build a booking system into the site, quoted per job. On the $899 site the managers' route can share a page with the body corporate information.
