Website Design for HVAC and Air Conditioning in Geelong

For heating and cooling businesses across Geelong, the Bellarine, the Surf Coast and Golden Plains: a site that speaks to the owner of a brand-new Armstrong Creek house with no gas connection, the Melbourne family whose Point Lonsdale holiday house has an outdoor unit facing the salt, and the Belmont household whose ducted gas heater has finally given up.

What a Geelong air conditioning website needs

Heating and cooling work around Geelong comes from three directions: the growth estates south of the city and on the Bellarine, the established suburbs where ducted gas heaters are wearing out, and the coastal towns, where a holiday house's outdoor unit can sit in sea air for months without anyone looking at it. A Geelong site should talk to each of them by name.

  • Salt air, in the warranty's own words

Daikin's warranty excludes damage to surfaces and coils from corrosive conditions including salt air, and both Daikin and ActronAir make extra corrosion protection the owner's job where there's sea air, with ActronAir adding regular washing down of the outdoor unit. For installs in Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Torquay or Anglesea, say how you choose and place units near the water and what upkeep you'd book in.

  • A yearly service the paperwork already asks for

ActronAir's terms make the purchaser responsible for maintenance by a suitably licensed or qualified person once every 12 months on a home system. That's a plain reason for a service plan page: what a visit covers, when in the year you'd come, whether you send a reminder, and a wash-down option for coastal customers.

  • Growth estates, by name

Armstrong Creek, Mount Duneed, Charlemont and Curlewis have filled quickly, and since 2024 new homes and subdivisions that need a planning permit only connect to all-electric networks. If you do ducted reverse cycle or multi-head installs for owners or builders in those estates, name them on the page, because that's how people there search.

  • Ducted gas replacements in established suburbs

In older parts of Belmont, Highton, Newtown or Lara, some enquiries may be about a ducted gas heater at the end of its life. Set out the changeover in order: who disconnects the gas unit, what happens to the ducts, how long the house is without heating, and whether a Victorian Energy Upgrades discount applies.

  • Holiday houses booked from somewhere else

On the City of Greater Geelong's peak-weekend estimate for the region, people staying in holiday homes outnumber permanent residents in St Leonards, Point Lonsdale, Anglesea and Lorne. Their owners live somewhere else, so a request form that asks for the address, how you'll get in and who to call on the day lets them organise a service before summer without driving down.

  • Call-outs on the hottest days

Grovedale, on Geelong's southern edge, has recorded 47.4°C, a degree above the record Melbourne set on the same day. On a day like that the business that answers gets the job, so a tap-to-call button at the top of each page and one honest line on whether you take after-hours breakdowns do more than any slogan.

Heating and cooling around Geelong: the coast, the estates and the heat

The Victorian rules, in short. Installing a reverse cycle system anywhere in Victoria needs a Building and Plumbing Commission registration in refrigerated air-conditioning work (or the restricted class for single-head splits), an Australian Refrigeration Council licence to handle the refrigerant, and a licensed electrician or registered electrical contractor for the wiring. The customer should finish with a Certificate of Electrical Safety and a plumbing compliance certificate. Victorian Energy Upgrades discounts, and the rental energy efficiency standards that begin on 1 March 2027, work the same way in Geelong as in the city. Our Melbourne air conditioning page sets all of that out in detail.

Four councils, one heat district. Your customers are spread across the City of Greater Geelong, home to 271,057 people at the 2021 census; the Borough of Queenscliffe, which takes in Queenscliff and part of Point Lonsdale; Surf Coast Shire, with Torquay, Jan Juc, Anglesea, Aireys Inlet, Lorne and Winchelsea; and Golden Plains Shire. The Department of Health puts all four in its Central forecast district, alongside metropolitan Melbourne, so a heat health warning for Central covers the whole area. If you also travel to Apollo Bay or Colac, Colac Otway Shire is in the South West district instead. While a heat health warning is current, EPA Victoria's night-time limits on residential air conditioners don't apply, though a council officer can still find the noise unreasonable.

Hot days here, too. On 7 February 2009 the Bureau of Meteorology recorded 47.4°C at Grovedale, an all-time record for that site, while Melbourne reached 46.4°C. Breakdown calls on days like that go to whichever installer picks up, which is why the call button and your after-hours policy belong near the top of the home page rather than on a contact page.

New estates and the all-electric rule. Census counts show how quickly the growth areas filled: Armstrong Creek went from 4,247 people in 2016 to 11,247 in 2021, Charlemont from 364 to 2,612, Mount Duneed from 1,578 to 6,182 and, on the Bellarine, Curlewis from 1,551 to 4,175. Since 1 January 2024, planning permits for new homes and residential subdivisions in Victoria only connect to all-electric networks, so houses built under those permits have no gas connection to heat with. If you work for builders, or look after systems once owners move in, a page explaining how a new system is used and serviced gives those owners a reason to call you rather than the builder.

The coast and the holiday houses. The City of Greater Geelong's 2023 peak overnight estimate for the Barwon region, modelled on a busy weekend such as New Year, counts more people in holiday homes than permanent residents in St Leonards, Indented Head, Portarlington, Point Lonsdale, Anglesea, Aireys Inlet and Lorne. Those are coastal towns, which is where the manufacturers' sea-air conditions and the yearly service matter most, and where an owner can't always be there to let you in. WebCraft Studio is an Adelaide team; we work with Geelong businesses by phone and email, and we haven't built a site for an air conditioning business yet. You send your licence numbers, the towns you cover and some job photos, and we send back a draft to check on your phone.

Service-area and trade sites we've built

There's no heating and cooling business in our portfolio yet. These two show the parts a Geelong installer would use: separate pages for each part of a mixed city, hills and coast service area with a multi-step quote form, and a regional business that takes holiday-rental work across several council areas.

Home page of the Bright Building & Renovations website

Bright Building & Renovations

Trades & construction · Adelaide, Adelaide Hills & Fleurieu

A licensed South Australian renovation builder covering Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills and the Fleurieu. Its 30 pages include seven service-area pages and a seven-step quote form, the same structure we'd use for Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast pages and a ducted quote that asks how many rooms need heating and cooling.

Home page of the Phoenix Housekeeping website

Phoenix Housekeeping

Home & care services · Lake Macquarie, Cessnock & Central Coast

A family-run cleaning business with published pricing, suburb pages across Lake Macquarie, Cessnock and the Central Coast, a quote form with a discreet call-back option and tap-to-call. Airbnb turnovers are part of its work, much like servicing holiday houses whose owners live elsewhere.

“…Salem walked us through everything, gave us a fixed quote so we knew exactly what we were paying, and turned around the build faster than we thought possible.”

Questions Geelong air conditioning businesses ask us

Should our site mention salt air?

If you work the Bellarine or the Surf Coast, yes, and carefully. Refer to the manufacturer's own warranty terms for the brands you fit rather than making general claims, then say what you do about it: where you place units, any coil coating you offer, and a wash-down as part of a service visit. A paragraph like that tells a beach-house owner you've thought about their install.

Can holiday-house owners book a service without being there?

Yes. A request form can ask for the property address, how you'll get access, the owner's mobile and the make of the system, and send it straight to your email. If you'd rather customers pick a time themselves, we can build online booking into the site and quote it with the rest of the job, or link the booking tool you already use.

We'll go to Lorne for an install but not for a service call. Can the site show that?

Yes. We list your towns in two groups, such as everywhere you'll come for any job, and the places you'll travel to for installs or larger work. That saves you calls from Aireys Inlet about a filter clean, and it tells customers in Lara or Drysdale they're in your everyday area.

We work for builders as well as homeowners. One site or two?

One site usually does it. A three-page site can give builders their own page, covering the systems you install, how you fit around a build program and how you hand over to the owner, while the home page stays focused on households. Our 8-page package suits you if commercial or rental work also needs room.

You're in Adelaide. How does a Geelong installer work with you?

You send your licence details, services, towns and photos; we build the draft, you check it on your phone, ask for any changes, and pay once you approve it. We reply within 24 hours.
