Website Design for Roofers in Moreton Bay

Websites for roofers working from Bribie Island and the Redcliffe peninsula out to Woodford and Mount Mee that say where you're attending after a storm, explain the ember-resistant details you fit on bushfire-mapped land, and give builders on the new estates a reason to call, with one tap to ring from any page.

What a Moreton Bay roofing website has to show

Moreton Bay asks a lot of a roofer's website. A storm can do serious damage at one end of the city and leave the other alone, new estates keep builders looking for roofing crews, and a rural house in the hills may drink the water that runs off its own roof. Owners, builders and committees all want to see quickly whether you do their kind of job in their part of the city.

  • Areas named the way locals give them

Bribie Island (Bongaree, Bellara, Banksia Beach, Woorim) with Sandstone Point and Ningi; the peninsula from Redcliffe to Kippa-Ring; the Pine Rivers suburbs around Strathpine and North Lakes; the Caboolture side; and the hills at Woodford, D'Aguilar and Mount Mee. We list the ones you'll drive to and mark where you're based.

  • A storm notice that says where you're working

In November 2025 the hardship list ran from Bribie Island and Beachmere to Woodford and Mount Mee but didn't include the Redcliffe peninsula. A banner on every page saying which areas you're attending, whether you're tarping only for now and when you'll quote permanent repairs keeps the calls you can take and turns away the ones you can't.

  • Ember-resistant details on bushfire-mapped land

If you roof new homes near bushland, describe the details you fit when a job calls for them, such as sealed roof joints and penetrations, metal rather than plastic gutters and downpipes, and the sarking and ember guards you use. Leave the bushfire attack level to the assessor, and let builders see that you already work to it.

  • Roofs that feed a rainwater tank

On rural blocks without town water, the roof is part of the water supply. Council suggests keeping lead flashing and treated timber out of roof catchments and fitting a first flush device. If you work on tank-fed houses, say what you use and avoid, and owners on acreage will know you've thought about it.

  • A page for builders on the new estates

Morayfield South and the Waraba priority development area mean years of new houses. A short page for builders, with your licence class, the roof types you install, your insurance details and how far ahead you book, lets a site supervisor decide quickly whether to send you plans.

  • Your QBCC class in every footer

Roof tiling or roof and wall cladding, the number and the name the licence is held under, with the statement that you're licensed under the QBCC Act. Owners and builders can then check you against the QBCC register in a minute.

Roofing in Moreton Bay: the 2025 storms, new bushfire mapping and tank water

Licensing works here as it does across Queensland: a QBCC licence for building work over $3,300, held in the roof tiling class or the roof and wall cladding class, and a website that carries your licensed name, the number and a statement that you're licensed under the QBCC Act. Our Brisbane roofers page explains both classes with sources. What sets Moreton Bay apart is the weather on its coast, a planning change starting in November 2026, and the number of houses that live on tank water.

On Monday 24 November 2025 council described a very dangerous thunderstorm with large hailstones, destructive winds and heavy rain, and the state said the week's storms lifted roofs and brought down trees and power lines. Hardship assistance opened to 37 Moreton Bay localities, among them Banksia Beach, Bellara, Bongaree, Woorim and Welsby on Bribie Island, Sandstone Point, Ningi, Toorbul, Beachmere, Elimbah, Wamuran, Woodford, D'Aguilar, Mount Mee and Waraba, and was later extended to Griffin, Joyner and Stony Creek. When the Insurance Council declared a catastrophe, it noted insurers on the ground in communities including Bribie Island, Logan and Brisbane, with support expanding to further parts of Moreton Bay. Earlier that year, on 8 March, Tropical Cyclone Alfred had crossed Moreton Island and weakened as it moved over Bribie Island before reaching the mainland that night. That's two big events in less than nine months with Bribie Island in the path of both.

From 2 November 2026, Major Amendment No. 4 to the Moreton Bay planning scheme removes the exemption that kept land in the General residential, Township, Centre and Industry zones out of the designated bushfire prone area. The state planning minister approved it on 2 October and council adopted it on 28 October 2026, along with an updated Morayfield South structure plan. Council's consultation material says new homes and certain other buildings on land mapped as bushfire prone must then meet the National Construction Code's bushfire requirements. Queensland applies AS 3959-2018 to new homes and outbuildings, rebuilding and some repairs and additions, and for new homes in the most extreme fire risk areas the state's summary lists non-combustible roofing, sealed wall and roof joints to guard against embers, and metal rather than plastic gutters and downpipes. Council's consultation material also said a city-wide bushfire hazard risk assessment was under way and a state mapping update was pending, so the mapping may change again.

Plenty of rural blocks rely on rainwater. Council's rainwater tank guidance says houses on lots without town water have no minimum tank size, and as a precaution it advises against pesticide-treated timbers and lead flashing in roof catchments, against collecting from roof sections near wood-burner flues, and in favour of a first flush device. For a roofer working in the hills, a paragraph on catchment-safe materials is local knowledge that an owner on acreage will notice.

Growth keeps the work coming. Economic Development Queensland declared Waraba a priority development area on 2 August 2024 and plans about 25,000 homes there, on top of Morayfield South and the estates already built around North Lakes. We're an Adelaide team at Ste 3/110 Hutt St and work with Moreton Bay businesses by phone and email; our Queensland clients include a dance school at Thorneside on Brisbane's bayside and a licensed Queensland plumber, and we haven't yet built a site for a Moreton Bay roofer. You send your licence details, the areas you cover and some roof photos, we send a draft link, and you pay once you approve it.

Sites we've built that show the structure a roofer needs

No roofer in our portfolio yet. Queensland Dance & Performing Arts at Thorneside, on Brisbane's bayside, gives each program its own page, the same shape as a page per roofing job. Tomi's Bobcat and Excavation is a rural trade whose 42-photo gallery does most of the selling.

Questions Moreton Bay roofers ask us

Does the new bushfire prone area rule change what our site should say?

If you roof new homes, it's worth a section. From 2 November 2026 more residential land in Moreton Bay falls inside the designated bushfire prone area, so more new homes there have to meet the National Construction Code's bushfire requirements. Describe the details you fit and link to council's planning scheme page; the bushfire attack level for a particular lot is for the assessor and certifier, not your website.

Which areas should a Moreton Bay roofer's site list?

The ones you'll actually reach, named the way people say them: Bribie Island suburbs, the peninsula, the Pine Rivers and Caboolture sides, and the hinterland towns. If you also take work in Brisbane's northern suburbs or on the Sunshine Coast, list those suburbs too. Changing the list later is a text edit covered by hosting.

Should we mention rainwater tanks?

If you work on rural houses, yes. Council advises keeping lead flashing and treated timber out of roof catchments and suggests a first flush device. A line saying which flashings and products you use on tank-fed roofs, and whether you fit first flush devices or leave that to a plumber, answers a question acreage owners do ask.

We mostly roof new homes for builders. Is a homeowner-style site wrong for us?

Not if it has a page written for builders. Keep repairs and reroofs for owners on their own pages, and give builders your licence class, the roof types you install, your insurance details, your lead time and a way to send plans. The three-page site at $899 usually covers both.

Can an Adelaide team build our site?

Yes. We're a web design team in Adelaide and work with businesses Australia-wide by phone and email; our current clients are in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD. You send your licence details, areas and photos, we build the draft, you ask for as many changes as you like, and you pay once you approve it.
