Website Design for Lawyers in Logan

Websites for Logan solicitors, whether your office is in Springwood, Logan Central, Browns Plains or Beenleigh: a page for each area of law you take on, clear directions to the courthouse on Kent and James Streets, and an enquiry form that lets a client say which language they're most comfortable in.

What a Logan law firm's website needs

Logan is a young city of about 345,000 people, and a quarter of them speak a language other than English at home. Much of the legal work starts close to home: a traffic or criminal matter at Beenleigh, a separation, a first house in a new estate, a will. The site has to show quickly that you handle that kind of matter and make the first contact easy.

  • A page for each area of law

Criminal and traffic, family, domestic violence, wills and estates, conveyancing, employment: each area you practise gets its own page in your words, covering who you act for, what the first appointment involves and how you charge. Personal injury work, if you do it, follows Queensland's tighter rules, summarised below.

  • Beenleigh courthouse, explained once

Beenleigh hosts the Magistrates Court, a District Court registry and one of Queensland's specialist domestic and family violence courts, all at the corner of Kent and James Streets. A short page on where it is, parking, what time to arrive and whether you meet clients beforehand answers the questions people ring about the night before.

  • Room to say which languages you speak

If a solicitor or staff member speaks Samoan, Punjabi, Mandarin, Arabic or Hindi, say so on their profile. The enquiry form can ask which language the client prefers and whether they would like an interpreter at the first meeting, so you can arrange one before they arrive.

  • Conveyancing for new estates

Yarrabilba, in the city's south, is planned for up to 20,000 homes. If you act on house-and-land and land-only contracts there or elsewhere in the south of the city, a page in your words on what you check before a buyer signs, and your fixed fee, gives first-home buyers something specific to act on.

  • Family law that points to the right building

Logan has no Federal Circuit and Family Court registry of its own; the nearest is in Brisbane, in the Harry Gibbs Commonwealth Law Courts at 119 North Quay. Your family law page can explain that, and a quick-exit button and a 'safe to contact' question on the form help clients leaving a violent relationship.

  • Profiles that clients can check

Admission year, areas of practice, any QLS accreditation shown the way QLS prescribes, and a link to the QLS register of solicitors. A photo and a few lines in the solicitor's own words help a nervous first-time client decide to pick up the phone.

  • Appointments without the phone tag

Tap-to-call at the top of every page, an after-hours enquiry form, and either a link to a booking tool you already use, such as Calendly, or a booking and payment system built into the site, quoted for your practice.

Practising law in Logan

The Queensland rules, in short. Logan solicitors work under the same Queensland legislation and conduct rules as Brisbane firms, including the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act limits on advertising injury work and QLS's guidance on showing specialist accreditation. Our Brisbane lawyers page sets those out with links to the official sources, so here we stick to Logan.

A city stitched together in 2008. Council amalgamation in March 2008 more than tripled Logan's area. Beenleigh, Eagleby, Waterford, Bethania and Edens Landing came across from the Gold Coast, and Jimboomba, Logan Village, Tamborine and Yarrabilba from the former Beaudesert Shire, alongside the older suburbs such as Springwood, Woodridge, Kingston, Slacks Creek, Logan Central and Browns Plains. People still search by those names rather than by "Logan", so a page that names the suburbs you actually draw clients from works better than a single line about serving the whole city.

Courts. Queensland Courts lists Beenleigh Magistrates Court at the corner of Kent and James Streets, with wi-fi, videoconferencing and a remote witness room, and the same building holds a District Court registry. Beenleigh is one of six places where Queensland runs a specialist domestic and family violence court, alongside Brisbane, Cairns, Mount Isa, Southport and Townsville, and a Community Justice Group there is funded to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander court users. Logan has no other Magistrates Court, and firms in the northern suburbs may also appear at Brisbane City's courts at Holland Park and Richlands, so a criminal law page should name the courts you actually attend.

Who your clients are. The 2021 Census counted 345,098 people in Logan, with a median age of 34. 65.7% were born in Australia, New Zealand was the most common overseas birthplace at 7.1%, and 24.9% spoke a language other than English at home, most often Samoan, Punjabi, Mandarin, Arabic or Hindi. In the south, Yarrabilba was declared a Priority Development Area in October 2010 and is planned for up to 20,000 homes and 50,000 people over 20 to 30 years, with development assessed by Economic Development Queensland rather than council, which is worth explaining on a property or planning page.

Free help nearby, and us. Legal Aid Queensland has an office on the first floor of Woodridge Place, and YFS Legal, a community legal centre on Cameron Street in Beenleigh, gives free one-off advice. Many private firms add a line about these services for people they can't help. We're an Adelaide team at Ste 3/110 Hutt St and work with Logan practices by phone and email. We haven't built a site for a Logan law firm; our legal-sector client is Resolve Forward in Sydney.

Work that carries over to a Logan practice

Resolve Forward, a family dispute resolution practice in Sydney, is our client in the legal field. Queensland Dance & Performing Arts, on Brisbane's Bayside, shows how we organise a site with many separate programs, much like a firm with several areas of law.

Professional services · Sydney

Each service, from mediation to parenting coordination, has its own page with FAQs, and priced packages lead into online booking and a five-step intake form. A Logan family or domestic violence page could use the same structure, adding interpreter and safe-contact questions.

“Salem was fantastic to work with on our accounting firm’s website. From day one, he was professional, responsive…”

Questions from Logan firms

Should our site mention the Beenleigh specialist domestic violence court?

If you appear there, yes. A domestic violence page can say that Beenleigh runs a specialist court, what the client can expect on the day and whether you attend with them. We add a quick-exit button and a form that asks for a safe number and a safe time to call.

Can we list the languages our staff speak?

Yes, on each person's profile and in a short line near the enquiry form. Only list languages someone genuinely uses with clients. If you arrange interpreters for other languages, say how that works and whether there is any cost to the client.

We act on Yarrabilba house-and-land contracts. What should that page include?

In your words: what you review before a buyer signs, how land-only and building contracts differ, your fixed fee and what it covers, and how long settlement usually takes. We can link to Economic Development Queensland's Yarrabilba page so buyers can see who assesses development there.

Our clients come from Beenleigh to Browns Plains. Do we need a page per suburb?

Usually not. One clear page naming the suburbs and towns you serve, with your office address and how to reach it, does the job. A separate page makes sense only if you have a second office, for example in Beenleigh as well as Springwood.

You're in Adelaide. How does it work for a Logan firm?

By phone and email. We're an Adelaide (South Australia) web design team working with businesses Australia-wide, with current clients in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD. You send your words, photos and solicitor details; we build a draft you can open on any device, and you pay only once you approve it. We reply within 24 hours.
