Website Design for Lawyers on the Central Coast

Websites for solicitors from Woy Woy to Lake Haven, built for the Coast's older clients and for the adult children who may search on their behalf: clear text, your areas of law in your own words, and an easy way to call or book.

What a Central Coast law firm's website should do

More than a fifth of the people living in the Central Coast council area were 65 or older at the 2021 Census. For firms doing wills, estates and elder law, that means writing for two readers at once: the older client, and the son or daughter helping them find a solicitor.

  • Text that's easy to read

A comfortable font size, strong contrast, plain headings and buttons large enough to tap. Your phone number sits at the top of every page, because plenty of older clients would rather call than fill in a form.

  • Wills and estates, step by step

In your words: what to bring to a will appointment, roughly how long it takes, and what an executor has to do after a death. A “from” fee for a simple will, with what it includes, answers the first thing most people want to know.

  • Home and hospital visits, if you make them

Say whether a solicitor can see a client at home, in hospital or in an aged care home to take instructions or sign documents, and which towns you'll travel to. A family in Toukley wants to know that before they ring.

  • Elder law, named plainly

Powers of attorney, guardianship appointments, retirement village and aged care contracts, family agreements: if you do this work, give it a page of its own. Elder law is one of the areas the Law Society of NSW is accrediting specialists in for 2026, so a solicitor who gains that accreditation can show it on their profile.

  • Your office town and nearest court

Name the town your office is in and the court you appear in most, whether Gosford, Wyong or Woy Woy. Add parking and step-free access details for clients who need them.

  • A way in for family members

A short form that lets someone enquire for a parent, with a line in your words on how you'll speak with the client themselves before acting. It's honest about how instructions work and saves an awkward first call.

Law on the Coast: who's local and what clients need

NSW rules, in short. Coast solicitors follow the same Legal Profession Uniform Law and conduct rules as their Sydney colleagues: no false, misleading, deceptive or offensive advertising, and “accredited specialist” only for those accredited by the relevant professional association. Our Sydney lawyers page sets out those rules, the Register of Solicitors and the accreditation conditions, with links to the Law Society of NSW.

A local law society with a directory. The Central Coast Law Society (opens in a new tab) says it represents more than 160 solicitors in private and public practice. Its website has a member directory with separate listings for accredited specialists, notaries and mediators, and runs a Will Notices service for people trying to track down a missing will. If your firm is listed, link to that entry from your own site; if your solicitors act as notaries or mediators, give that work a short section of its own, since the society lists those roles separately.

An older population. The Coast is older than the state as a whole. Census 2021 put the median age in the council area at 43, four years above the NSW figure of 39, and about 22% of residents were 65 or over, against under 18% statewide; roughly one resident in ten was 75 or older. For a law firm that points towards estate planning, estate administration and elder law, and towards a site that an 80-year-old and a daughter living in Sydney can both use without help.

One council, many towns. Central Coast Council has covered the region since Gosford City and Wyong Shire merged on 12 May 2016, yet people still search by town, and the courts are spread across it: Gosford Local and District Court on Donnison Street, Wyong Local Court on Anzac Avenue, and Woy Woy Local Court on Blackwall Road. A firm in Erina, Kincumber or Tuggerah does better naming its own town and the courts it attends than describing itself as covering the whole Coast.

Working with us. We're an Adelaide team and work with Coast firms by phone and email. One of our NSW clients, Phoenix Housekeeping, works across the Central Coast, and deceased estate cleaning is among its services.

Sites we've built for similar clients

Neither is a law firm. Golden Years Aged Care Support was built for older readers and their families, and Phoenix Housekeeping works across the Coast. For a legal example, read how we built Resolve Forward's booking page for a Sydney family dispute resolution practice.

In-home support for older people in Northern Adelaide. Large, readable text, nine services explained on a single page, tap-to-call throughout and an enquiry form with a referral option for aged care providers: layout choices that suit a wills and elder law practice just as well.

“He listened to my feedback and made no hesitations to revise and adjust my website until we were completely happy with it.”

Questions Central Coast law firms ask us

Most of our clients are older. What changes on the website?

Bigger text, stronger contrast, shorter lines, a phone number at the top of every page and forms with only a few fields. Before you approve the draft, you can send the link to a few regular clients and ask them to try it.

Can adult children make an enquiry for a parent?

Yes. The form can ask who is enquiring and on whose behalf, and the page can explain, in your words, how you'll involve the client before taking instructions. That sets expectations without turning anyone away.

Should we link to the Central Coast Law Society directory?

If your firm or solicitors are listed, a link from your about page lets a client see the listing for themselves. Accredited specialists, notaries and mediators have their own listings there, so mention those roles on the relevant profiles as well.

Should we publish a fee for wills?

If you charge a set fee for a simple will or power of attorney, a “from” figure with what it includes helps people decide to call. Say what would make a matter cost more, such as a family trust or a blended family. Under conduct rule 36 the figure mustn't mislead, so keep it current; changing it later is covered by the $30 monthly hosting.

You're in Adelaide. How do we work together?

By phone and email. We're an Adelaide (South Australia) team working with businesses Australia-wide, with current clients in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD. You send your words, photos and solicitor details; we send a draft link, make the changes you ask for, and you pay once you approve. We reply within 24 hours.

Ready to start your Coast firm's website?

Tell us your areas of law, your office towns and who usually makes the first call. We'll quote and build the draft, and you pay only once you approve it.
