Website Design for Electricians in Moreton Bay

Websites for electricians and electrical contractors across the City of Moreton Bay: the Redcliffe Peninsula, North Lakes and the Pine Rivers suburbs, Caboolture, Bribie Island and the acreage out west. A customer can check your licence, see that you cover their street and ring you with one tap when the lights go out.

What a Moreton Bay electrician’s website needs

Moreton Bay runs from bayside streets on the peninsula to estates built since the late 1990s, an island across the Pumicestone Passage and hill country around Dayboro. The electrical work shifts from one part to the next, and so do the people asking for it: new owners, builders, landlords and local businesses. Your site should make it plain which of those jobs you want.

  • A storm notice you control

When ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred stalled near Bribie Island in March 2025, more than 300,000 homes and businesses across South East Queensland and northern New South Wales lost power. In a week like that, one line above everything else, such as ‘Taking urgent outage calls today’ or ‘Booked out until the 20th’, stops the phone ringing for work you can’t fit in. Swapping it is a text edit covered by hosting. If you fit generator inlets or changeover switches, give them a line in the same section.

  • Add-ons for people in new estates

If you do work for owners who have just moved into a new house, such as extra power points, ceiling fans, outdoor and garden lighting, data points or an EV charger in the garage, list each one with a photo from a job you’ve done. The owner can see straight away that their wish list is the kind of thing you take on.

  • A section builders can check

A builder or site supervisor looking for an electrician wants to know which stages you handle, from rough-in to fit-off, how many houses you can take on at once, which estates you already work in and what licences you hold. Put that in a short section with its own contact button, apart from the homeowner material.

  • Your licence, the way the regulation words it

Queensland asks an electrical contractor’s advertising to carry three things: the licensed or registered business name, a statement that the business is licensed under the Electrical Safety Act 2002, and the contractor licence number. We set those out in the footer of every page, using the same name a customer will find on the Electrical Safety Office’s licence search.

  • Bribie Island as its own area

Bongaree, Bellara, Banksia Beach and Woorim sit across the passage, reached by the bridge from Sandstone Point. If you only go over on set days, name the days. If you don’t go at all, leaving the island off the list spares an islander a call that ends in no.

  • A form that sorts urgent from routine

Name, phone, suburb, then one question: is the power off to the whole house, off to part of it, or is this a job that can be planned? Add a spot for a photo of the switchboard and you can tell from the ute whether to head over now or book it in for Thursday.

  • Travel terms for the rural west

Dayboro, Samford Valley, Woodford and Mount Mee are a long drive from Redcliffe. If you take work out there, name the localities and say whether a travel charge applies, so someone on a few acres knows where they stand before picking up the phone.

Moreton Bay for electricians: what’s local

The state rules don’t change at the council boundary, and our Brisbane electrician page sets them out in full: electrical work is licensed by the Electrical Safety Office, a business needs an electrical contractor licence to contract for jobs, and section 188 of the Electrical Safety Regulation 2026 decides what your advertising has to show. Energex runs the network here, as it does across South East Queensland. What’s different in Moreton Bay is the map, the growth and the weather.

The map first. The City of Moreton Bay was formed in 2008 from the former City of Redcliffe and the Pine Rivers and Caboolture shires, and took its present name in July 2023. Council counts 94 suburbs across more than 2,045 square kilometres, with 294 kilometres of coastline and waterways, and the city is split into 12 divisions. That’s far too much ground to promise as a single area. We’d set your service area out as the peninsula (Redcliffe, Scarborough, Margate, Kippa-Ring) with Deception Bay next door, the Pine Rivers side (Strathpine, Petrie, Kallangur, Mango Hill, North Lakes), the Caboolture side (Caboolture, Morayfield, Burpengary, Narangba, Beachmere), Bribie Island and the rural west, and keep only the groups you actually drive to.

Then the growth. Council expects about 200,000 more people to call Moreton Bay home over the next 20 years. North Lakes, started in 1999 as a master-planned community in the Mango Hill area, had 23,030 residents at the 2021 census, and the next big front is Waraba, a priority development area declared in August 2024 west of Bellmere and south of the D’Aguilar Highway, planned for 30,000 homes and about 70,000 people. Each of those houses needs an electrician for the builder, and owners who want more than the builder supplied go looking for one again once they’ve moved in. A site that speaks to both in separate sections is easier for each of them to use.

Then the weather. Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred made landfall in March 2025 after stalling near Bribie Island, and the outages that followed stretched across the south-east. Council’s Flood Check property report and the Moreton Bay Flood Viewer give the flood information for a particular address, which is worth linking from a page about raising switchboards or storm repairs so owners can check their own property before they call.

We’re an Adelaide team at Ste 3/110 Hutt St and work with Moreton Bay businesses by phone and email. You send your licence details, the suburbs you cover and a handful of job photos; we send back a draft link you can open on your phone between jobs, and you pay only once you’re happy with it.

Trade websites we’ve built

There isn’t an electrician among our clients yet, so we won’t show you one. These two trade sites use the pieces a Moreton Bay electrical business needs most: quick contact for urgent jobs, and a big service area laid out so each customer can find their own suburb.

Questions from Moreton Bay electricians

We do a lot of work for builders. Should that have its own page?

If builders bring in a big share of your work, yes. A page that sets out the stages you handle, the estates and suburbs you work in and your licence details gives a supervisor enough to put you on a shortlist. On a one-page site, a short section with its own contact button does the same job.

We only cross to Bribie Island on certain days. Can the site say so?

Yes. We can list Bongaree, Bellara, Banksia Beach and Woorim under their own heading with a line such as ‘island jobs Tuesdays and Fridays’. When the days change, email us the new wording and we’ll update it; text changes on existing pages are part of the $30 monthly hosting.

What should the site say during a big storm or outage?

Keep it short and current: whether you’re taking urgent calls, roughly how far ahead you’re booked, and a line pointing people to Energex for faults out on the street rather than inside the house. We change the notice whenever you email us, so it stays accurate.

Can customers send a photo of their switchboard with the enquiry?

Yes. The quote form can accept photos taken on a phone, and they come through with the request. A clear picture of the board and the tripped switch often tells you more than a paragraph from a worried customer, and it helps you decide whether the job needs you tonight.
