Website Design for Real Estate Agents

Websites for independent agencies and solo agents, built around the appraisal request: a profile vendors can check before they ring you, and a direct route to the listings you already publish on the portals.

What a real estate website needs to do

Buyers tend to hunt for properties on realestate.com.au and Domain. The people who type in your agency's own address are often someone else: an owner deciding who should sell or lease their place, a landlord unhappy with their current manager, or a buyer who saw your signboard and wants to know who's behind it. Your website is where they decide whether to make contact.

  • An appraisal request that takes a minute

The property address, house or unit, roughly when they're thinking of selling and how they'd like to be contacted. We call it a request for an appraisal by one of your agents, not an instant online valuation, because that's what it is. Agencies with a rent roll get a second form for rental appraisals.

  • A profile for each agent

A proper headshot, direct mobile and email, the suburbs they work and a short piece in their own words. An owner comparing agents may search each one's name before the listing presentation, and a profile on your agency's site gives that search a sensible place to land.

  • Your listings, linked where they already live

We don't run a live listings feed from your CRM. If your CRM already sends each property to the portals, every agent's profile and the main menu link to your agency pages there. If you'd like a few featured properties on the home page, we swap them over whenever you email the details.

  • Price wording that suits your state

Underquoting rules cover your own website, featured properties included, not only the portals. NSW limits a price range to 10% and rules out “offers over”; Queensland agents can't give a price guide for an auction property; and in Victoria the Property Price Statement has to be shown or linked next to the advertised price online. We publish the exact price text you or your licensee approve.

  • Licence details where people look

State regulators keep public registers of licensed agents, and NSW expects the licence holder's name in an agency's ads. We put the agency's licence or registration details in the footer of every page and on each agent's profile, worded the way your licensee asks.

  • Vendor and landlord reviews that are genuine

Quotes from past vendors and landlords are common on agency sites, and the ACCC treats fake or misleading reviews as a breach of the Australian Consumer Law. We publish only the ones you send us, with the reviewer's first name and suburb if they're happy to be named, and a link back to where each review first appeared.

Our work, and how it relates to an agency

We haven't built a site for a real estate agency yet, so we have no agency example to show you. The pieces an agency site relies on are ones we've built in other fields: suburb pages for a cleaning business around Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast, board profiles for a South Australian community club, and a five-step intake form for a Sydney family dispute resolution practice.

“Nothing is ever a problem, will email back on a Saturday night if need be.”

What a real estate website costs

One page

$399

A solo agent or a new boutique office: who you are, the suburbs you sell in, an appraisal request form and links to your current listings, on one page.

Our suggestion for most independent agencies

Up to 3 pages

$899

A home page with the appraisal form, a team page with a profile for each agent, and a page for property management or your recent sales.

Up to 8 pages

$1,499

Up to eight pages split the way your office works: for example pages for your senior agents, a few key suburbs, property management with its own rental appraisal form, and how you run a sale campaign.

  • Payment. No deposit. We build your draft first, you ask for as many changes as you like, and you pay once you approve it. If you don't go ahead, you owe nothing.
  • GST. WebCraft Studio isn't registered for GST, so no GST is added.
  • Timing. Most sites are live within 5–10 days of us getting your words and photos; bigger sites (up to 8 pages) take 2–3 weeks.
  • Hosting. After launch, hosting is $30 a month: hosting, security monitoring, backups, email support and unlimited text and image changes on your existing pages. New pages or features are quoted first. No contract, cancel anytime.
  • Domain and email. We register your domain in your name (about $20 a year), connect it to your site and set up your business email.

Questions agencies ask us

Can our listings appear on our website automatically?

Not through us: we don't connect live listing feeds. Your CRM already pushes listings to realestate.com.au and Domain, so the site links to your agency and agent pages there. For a handful of featured properties on the home page, email us the details and we update them. Changes to text and images on existing pages are included in hosting.

Do underquoting rules apply to prices on our own site?

Yes. They cover advertising generally, including any property you feature on your home page. NSW guidance caps a range at 10% and rules out “offers over” or a “+” after a price. Queensland bars price guides on auction properties. In Victoria, the Property Price Statement replaced the Statement of Information from 1 October 2026 and must be displayed prominently online. South Australia prohibits advertising below the agent's estimated selling price. We publish the wording you approve; your regulator's guidance is the place to check the detail.

What should our appraisal form ask?

Enough for the agent to prepare, without putting owners off: the address, the property type, bedrooms, when they might sell and a phone number or email. A free-text box catches the rest. Each request is emailed to the inbox you nominate, usually the office's main address.

Agents come and go. Can we update profiles ourselves?

You don't need to. Email us the new photo, number or bio and we change it; edits to text and images on your existing pages are covered by the $30 monthly hosting with no limit. A brand-new page, say for a suburb you've started working, is quoted first.

Which package suits a real estate agency?

A solo agent can start with the one-page site at $399. For an independent office with a few agents, we suggest the 3-page site at $899: home and appraisal form, team profiles, and property management or recent sales. Bigger offices wanting individual agent pages and suburb pages are better suited to the 8-page site at $1,499.

Ready for an agency site vendors can size up?

Send us your agency name, the agents you'd like profiled and the suburbs you work. We'll quote it, build the draft, and you pay only once you've approved it.
