Website Design for Tradies in Logan

Websites for trades working across the City of Logan, from Beenleigh and Kingston to the acreage around Jimboomba and the new estates at Yarrabilba and Flagstone.

What Logan tradies need their website to do

Logan sits between Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast, and it takes in established suburbs, bushland acreage and two large planned housing areas. A Logan trade site has to make clear which of those you work in and what kind of jobs you'll take.

  • Suburb, acreage or new estate: say which

A plumber who mostly works the established suburbs and one who services acreage blocks out past Jimboomba are chasing different customers. We split your service area into those groups, so a homeowner on five acres knows you'll make the trip.

  • Servicing schedules for rural properties

Homes that aren't on council sewer need their own treatment system, and Logan requires aerobic plants to be serviced every three months. If that's your work, a section explaining what a service covers, plus a form to request the next one, gives a one-off customer an easy way to come back to you.

  • Work for owners of brand-new houses

Yarrabilba and Greater Flagstone are planned for tens of thousands of new homes, and people moving in want fencing, turf, driveways, air conditioning and extra lights. Naming those estates on the site, with photos of jobs there, tells new owners you already work nearby.

  • Jobs over the city boundary, both ways

If you take work in Brisbane's southern suburbs or on the northern Gold Coast as well, write that down by suburb. Customers near the boundary search with their own suburb name, and a site that only says Logan can lose them.

  • Details that match the QBCC register

The QBCC's own contractor search lets homeowners filter by type of work, location and radius, and its register shows your licence. When the name, number and service area on your site match what they find there, the check takes seconds.

  • The languages you speak

Logan's residents come from more than 234 cultures, according to council. If you or someone on your crew speaks another language, put it on the site near the phone number. For a customer more comfortable in that language, it can be the reason they ring you.

Logan details that shape a trade website

Council describes Logan as sitting between Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast, home to more than 400,000 people, with housing that ranges from leafy suburbs to bushland acreage. Its boundaries changed in 2008, when Beenleigh and Eagleby came across from the Gold Coast and Jimboomba and Logan Village from the former Beaudesert Shire, and the city more than tripled in area. So the word Logan covers places that are quite different to work in, and a trade site does better listing the actual suburbs and districts it covers.

Two of Queensland's priority development areas are in the south of the city. Economic Development Queensland plans Yarrabilba, about 20 km south of Logan Central, for up to 20,000 dwellings and up to 50,000 people, which it expects to take 20 to 30 years. Greater Flagstone is planned for around 51,500 dwellings and up to 138,000 people over 30 to 40 years. The growth already shows in the ABS estimates for 2024–25: Logan added almost 12,000 residents (3.1%), Chambers Flat – Logan Reserve had the third-largest gain of any area in Queensland, and Greenbank – North Maclean the third-fastest growth rate. The people moving in need the trades that fence, landscape and fit out new homes, and the estate and suburb names are what they type into a search.

Where a property isn't connected to council sewer, council says it needs on-site facilities: aerobic wastewater treatment plants must be serviced every three months and aerobic sand filters every year, by a licensed service agent, and owners should keep a copy of each service report. For plumbers and wastewater technicians that's repeat work worth explaining on the site. For every other trade, acreage jobs mean longer drives, so a fair travel or call-out note belongs on the page too.

Plumbing and drainage need a QBCC licence whatever the job is worth, and the QBCC's advertising rules ask for your licensed name, a statement that you're licensed and your licence number on websites as well as print. An electrical contractor's ads must carry the licensed or registered business name, a statement of licence and the contractor licence number under section 188 of the Electrical Safety Regulation 2026. We put these details on every page so they're there wherever a customer lands.

We're an Adelaide team, and we work with Logan tradies by phone and email. You send your licence details, the suburbs and districts you cover and a set of job photos; we build the draft and change it until you're happy, and only then do you pay.

Trade sites we've built

We haven't built for a Logan business yet. Our closest trade example is a Queensland plumber, and a South Australian painting company shows how we handle a service area with a lot of suburbs in it.

Questions from Logan tradies

Do you build websites for Logan tradies from Adelaide?

We do. WebCraft Studio is an Adelaide web design team at Ste 3/110 Hutt St, working with businesses across Australia by phone and email. Current clients are in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD, including a plumbing and gas business in Queensland. You won't need to take time off the tools for meetings: a call, your photos and your licence details are enough.

Should a Logan trade site say Logan, Brisbane or Gold Coast?

Use the names your customers use. List the suburbs first, then the city names that apply: Logan for the suburbs inside the city, and Brisbane or the Gold Coast only if you actually take jobs there. People living near the edges tend to search with their own suburb, so the suburb list does most of the work.

Can the site explain septic and aerobic servicing to acreage customers?

Yes. Send us the details, such as what a service involves, how often council requires it and what you charge, and we'll set them out as a section with an enquiry form a customer can use to ask for the next visit. We don't build automated reminder or online booking systems, so the follow-up stays with you.

What licence details should a Logan trade website show?

If you hold a QBCC licence: the licensed name, a line saying you're licensed, and the number, with your trading name alongside if you use one. If you're an electrical contractor: the licensed or registered business name, that you're licensed, and the contractor licence number. We place them in the footer of every page.

What does a website for a Logan tradie cost?

One page costs $399. Up to 3 pages is $899 and up to 8 pages is $1,499. Those are the same prices we charge anywhere in Australia, and no GST is added. After launch, hosting is $30 a month with no contract, and we register your domain in your name for about $20 a year.
