Website Design for Concreters

Websites for concreters that show driveways and slabs at their best, give customers a feel for price per square metre, and ask for the measurements you need to quote.

What a concreting website needs to do

A new driveway is a large, permanent job right at the front of the house, so homeowners want to see finished work and get a sense of cost before they ring. Builders booking slabs want something else: proof you turn up on pour day and finish to spec.

  • A gallery sorted by finish

Broom finish, exposed aggregate, coloured, stencilled, stamped and polished concrete each draw a different customer. We group your photos by finish and by job (driveways, paths, patios, house slabs and shed slabs) so a visitor can go straight to what they're after.

  • A rough price per square metre

Plenty of people look up driveway costs before they look for a concreter. If you're comfortable publishing a typical per-square-metre range for common finishes, with what moves it (access, excavation, breaking out old concrete, thickness and reinforcement), it filters enquiries before they reach your phone. You set the figures, and nothing goes up until you approve it.

  • A quote form that asks for measurements

Length and width or a rough area, the finish they want, whether existing concrete has to come out, access for a truck or line pump, and photo uploads of the site. That turns a vague enquiry into one you can price.

  • Before, during and after

A driveway's quality is decided in the prep, and that's invisible once it's poured. A couple of shots of formwork, mesh and the compacted base beside the finished surface show customers the work behind your price.

  • Homeowner and builder work separated

Homeowners are after driveways, paths and patios; builders need house slabs, footings and shed slabs poured to their program. Separate sections speak to each, and the builder section can list the slab types you pour and the size of jobs you take on.

  • Licence and insurance on every page

In NSW, residential concreting above a set job value needs a general concreting licence, which also covers stencilling, stamped patterns and exposed aggregate. Queensland's QBCC concreting licence covers formwork, reinforcement and the concrete itself. If you hold either, we show the number on every page along with your insurance cover.

The closest work in our portfolio

We haven't built a site for a concreting business yet. The closest examples are an excavation business doing earthworks, structural landscaping and pool construction, and a structural engineering firm that designs slabs and retaining walls. Neither is a concreter; they show the kind of photo gallery and quote form we'd build for one.

Tomi's Bobcat and Excavation

Trades & construction · South Pambula & Bega Valley

Bobcat and excavator operators in the Bega Valley, NSW, doing structural landscaping, pool building and earthworks. We built a one-page site with a swipeable 42-photo gallery, a testimonial carousel and a contact form, a layout that suits a concreter with plenty of job photos.

Home page of the Simple Engineers website

Simple Engineers

Professional services · Adelaide

Adelaide structural engineers who design concrete slabs, retaining walls and stormwater systems. Their quote form shows fee ranges and accepts file uploads, the same idea as a per-square-metre guide paired with a form that takes plans and site photos.

“Nothing is ever a problem, will email back on a Saturday night if need be.”

Questions concreters ask us

Should a concreter put prices on the website?

It's your call, and the site only says what you approve. A per-square-metre range for common finishes, with a note on what changes it, is one way to screen out callers whose budget doesn't fit. Some concreters prefer a line saying every job is measured and quoted on site; we can set it up either way.

Which package suits a concreting business?

For an owner-operator, the one-page site at $399 usually covers driveways, paths, slabs and a gallery. The 3-page site at $899 suits concreters who want decorative finishes and builder work on pages of their own. Bigger operations with several crews and services suit the 8-page site at $1,499.

Can customers upload plans or site photos?

Yes. The quote form can accept photos and files such as a site plan, so you can see the access and any existing concrete before you call back. Enquiries go straight to your email.

What photos work best on a concreting site?

Photograph finished jobs in soft morning or late-afternoon light: from the street for driveways, and low across the surface for exposed aggregate or stamped patterns. Add a prep shot or two showing formwork and mesh. Our guide to before-and-after photos has more on taking them.

Do you work with concreters outside Adelaide?

Yes. We're an Adelaide team working with businesses Australia-wide by phone and email. Our current clients are in SA, NSW, VIC and QLD, including trade businesses in NSW and Queensland.
